SCP-# in her room.

Item #: #

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-# is to be kept in standard living quarters containing a human-sized bed, along with feeding dishes for food and water, and a liter box that is to be emptied biweekly. SCP-#'s room is also to be supplied with the board game "Mage Knight" with all the pieces outside of the box. Should SCP-# display an interest in any other game, which is shown by curling up on the game and meowing at staff, the game should also be placed in SCP-#'s room.

SCP-# has been observed to repeatedly escape its room and wander around the facility, but this behavior is normal and does not warrant any action as SCP-# always returns to its room. Should staff need to contain SCP-#, simply shake SCP-#'s food container until SCP-# returns.

SCP-# is friendly to staff, but has shown agitation when manually moved back to its room, and when its room does not contain any board games.

Description: SCP-# is a small black female Felis catus, or common house cat, measuring 68 centimeters from head to tail and weighing 3.1kg. While its true age is unknown, DNA testing has implied it to be approximately 3-5 years old.

SCP-# was recovered when, during a regular social media check, SCP-# (named "Nina") was recorded defeating their owner in a game of chess. The Foundation had the video dismissed as a hoax. A Foundation member posing as a police officer confiscated SCP-#, gave the owner mild amnesiacs, and replaced SCP-# with a non-anomalous cat.

SCP-# displays extraordinary intelligence when presented with any board game and, when asked, will play the board game with the skill of a human that has played the game their entire lives, even if the game had been made recently and SCP-# has never seen the rules (see Experiment Log #-X). SCP-# has shown to be very skilled at Checkers, Chess, Connect Four, Mage Knight, Texas Hold 'Em, Clue, and many others. Below are a few noted tests that took place with SCP-#.
