SCP-3419

Item #: SCP-3419

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3419-1 and SCP-3419-2 must be contained in separate chambers or "cells" inside a modular prison system, Site-193/3419. Said prison must be staffed with 25 guards patrolling the prison at all times in patrols that change daily, and 8 guards guarding all exits, 2 around each exit. Only one exit is allowed to be open at any given time, and no individual is allowed to know which exit it is until 60 seconds before it opens.

Site-193 is a perimeter of 3km in a radius around the center of the prison system. Site-193 must be provided with genetically altered animals deemed 3419-Safe. Said animals have been altered to possess fragile bones and easily tearable tissues. 3419-Safe animals must also be embedded with a virus to deteriorate their bones and tissues should they begin to stress. This is to make sure SCP-3419-1 and -2 cannot use them should these animals come into their possession.

Should SCP-3419-1 or -2 find a way to leave its cell, or a non-3419-Safe animal finds its way into the cell of either SCP-3419-1 or -2, a lockdown of the entire prison system is to commence and the segment in which the offending specimen is located is to be filled with toxins until all life except SCP-3419 is dead. The new segment SCP-3419-1 or -2 is located in during lockdown is to become its new cell.

Should both SCP-3419-1 and -2 find a way to leave their cell, an immediate lockdown and a [REDACTED] before they can meet.

The modular segments of the prison must be swapped on an hourly basis both on-site and with spare modules stored in other parts of Site-193. This is to ensure the prison's layout is constantly shifting to prevent SCP-3419-1 and -2 from studying it as well as hinder their ability to communicate with each other.

It is pertinent to ensure that SCP-3419-1 and -2 are no less than 10m and no more than 3000m away from each to each other to prevent [REDACTED] at which point on-site nuclear device must be detonated.

SCP-3419 are immune to all known drugs and diseases outside of Foundation possession as well as some that are within Foundation possession. They are quick to develop immunity against every drug or disease they're subject to within 24 hours. As such, new drugs must be developed constantly in order to subdue SCP-3419.

All changes in prison layout and guards patrol must be operated via a randomly generated computer algorithm to prevent information from reaching the prisoners. This algorithm must be replaced every two months to ensure it hasn't been discovered by the prisoners.

Description: SCP-3419 is a collective name for two humanoid entities (SCP-3419-1 and -2) and any creature or object created or manipulated into a new form by SCP-3419's anomalous properties.

SCP-3419-1 (Codenamed "The Artist") is a humanoid entity roughly 195cm in height and weighing around 60kg. Due to the danger of getting close to SCP-3419-1, it is impossible to provide accurate measurements. SCP-3419-1 resembles a Caucasian male, albeit transformed far beyond the normal parameters of human anatomy, even by means of rare conditions and diseases. SCP-3419-1's skin is stretched tautly across its thin and twisted physique, with tears and holes appearing throughout its length from its feet up to his neck. No blood, any blood vessels or internal organs can be seen through the holes. SCP-3419-1's arms appear to suffer from severe muscle atrophy to the point of nearly no muscle mass being present at all. Its arms end in two "hands" with fingers that resemble sharp instruments, such that can be found used by dentists or sculptors. SCP-3419-1 is naked except for a short-sleeved "jacket" of its own skin attached to its shoulders and hanging around its torso. It has no apparent genitalia.

SCP-3419-1's head is elongated and covered with a thick layer of skin. The head lacks any visible orifices or external organs typical for a human face. Instead, the "face" area is covered by 16 tendrils of skin arranged in a 4x4 square around where one would expect the nose and eyes to be. Each tendril extends about 5cm from the face and is able to move independently, though they often move in tandem when SCP-3419-1's "looks" towards a certain direction or is working on one of its creations.

SCP-3419-2 (Codenamed: "The Builder") is a humanoid entity roughly 170cm in height and weighing around 100kg. SCP-3419-2 cannot be measured directly for similar reasons. SCP-3419-2 resembles a Latino or Caucasian male with broad shoulders and a stocky build. SCP-3419-2 is similarly twisted and transformed beyond human anatomy, similarily to SCP-3419-1, though to a lesser extent. Its skin is significantly tougher and rougher than a normal human and resembles leather in appearance. SCP-3419-2's skin lacks any holes or tears like SCP-3419-1, except for two vertical cuts around its hips, which resemble pockets. SCP-3419-2 stores various tools of flesh and bone inside its two pockets, which it takes out when working on its creations. Each of the tools is connected to the inside of its pockets via fleshy wires resembling umbilical cords. SCP-3419-2 wears an "apron" of tanned human skin attached to its shoulders.

SCP-3419-2's head is square and stocky in shape uncommon but not unheard of for human heads. This head is covered in tautly wound skin. Its "face" lacks any eyes, nose or mouth like its counterpart, but does feature a single ear measuring about 25cm covering the entire left side of the face. The right side of the face features 9 circular holes in a pattern of 8 smaller holes surrounding a bigger one where the right eye would be. These holes emit blue light whenever SCP-3419-2 is working on one of its creations.

Each of the SCP-3419 pair has the ability to manipulate flesh, both animal and human, into forms suiting whichever purpose it desires, usually to assist it in various escape plans. The manipulation works best when the material is alive but can work on dead flesh as well, although its efficacy is reduced over time after passing. The effect works telekinetically, allowing SCP-3419 to manipulate any living or dead being from a distance of as much as 10m, although SCP-3419 prefer to work on their creations from up-close, particularly using the "tools" forming out of each of their bodies.

SCP-3419-1 and SCP-3419-2 each have their own style of manipulation, with specific traits unique to each's work and not found in the other. SCP-3419-1 tends to stretch and elongate its creations, often adding twists and loops of the flesh and bone. It tends to repurpose various bones and organs, such as turning lung tissue into wings and finger bones into insect-like legs. It appears to prefer working with smaller creatures, and when provided with larger samples, tends to split them up into multiple creations. It prefers creating living creatures.

SCP-3419-2 tends to prefer large samples, which it manipulates into larger structures and devices such as boats, ramming batteries and other means of prison escape. A particular trait it gives to its creations is the thickening of the skin via the use of cartilage and bone matter from other places in the body and sometimes from other samples, creating a distinct layer of hard matter between the skin layers.

The appearance of SCP-3419-1 and -2's heads suggests each one worked on its counterpart's head. It's possible that SCP-3419 cannot manipulate its own head or face, though testing this hypothesis is so far impossible.

Discovery: One of the creations of SCP-3419 (now labeled SCP-3419-3) was first discovered on ██/██/196█ in the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary after reports of a strange creature alerted one of the embedded Foundation agents in the prison. The creation, a 10cm long bug-like creature was found out to be the snout and upper jaw of a rat, with rat fingers taking the form of insect legs. The Foundation took in the creature as an anomalous item and after a brief investigation failed to find the origin of it and let it be.

Only 2 months later, after the disappearance of 5 guards and an escape by two prisoners: ██████ ████) and ███ ██████-████ from the penitentiary using a "boat made out of human flesh" was the Foundation privy to the existence of SCP-3419. Class-A Amnesiacs and false memories were given to the entire prison population and the hunt for SCP-3419 went underway [see document 3419-B01]. Though the two were believed to still have a human appearance during their stay in Alcatraz, they have adopted their current forms by the time they came into Foundation possession.

Addendum: These two are so expensive. They cost us three times as many agents and twice as many amnestics as the average SCP of their size. It's ridiculous if you ask me. I'd argue to kill them if I didn't fear it'd cost us even more. -Dr. ██████████
