SCP-XXXX in later stage of activating anomalous properties.

Containment: SCP xxxx is currently in the possession of an unknown GOI. Until the location of SCP XXXX can be confirmed any and all photographs of foundation locations containing a door in any form must have the door either censored or modified to ensure a key detail is altered in a significant manner (I.e, replacing the handle or altering size/dimensions/colours). testing shows that this is mostly sufficient to nullify SCP XXXXs ability to lock onto the door and activate its anomalous properties.

Description: SCP XXXX is a grey concrete room approximately 5x4x5 Cubic metres. SCP XXXX contains the following: a plain metal door with a keyhole consistent around designs from the early 1960s (presumed to be the entrance to scp XXXX.) an early Xerox photocopier. And a simplistic chalk drawing of a door opposite to the Xerox Photocopier. When any photograph containing a door is placed inside the photocopier and the machine activated the chalk drawing will alter itself to match the door in the photograph.Upon which it will become corporeal, this door can be opened and will link to the door contained in the photograph. Allowing anyone in SCP XXXX to traverse into the location and vice versa. The connection lasts approximately 24 hours before returning to normal state (see experiment log) or closing upon the photocopier being deactivated. SCP XXXX is currently in the possession of an unknown GOI and has been used to conduct multiple raids against the foundation. (See incident log) Any door accessed by SCP XXXX is inaccessible from the side opposite to the photograph used (as well as immune to any damage until SCP xxxx is deactivated)

Incident log:

  • The foundation was first made aware of SCP XXXX when a connection between SCP XXXX and a storage room in site-64 was established. Approximately 30 black masked members of the Unknown GOI broke into the site. Using Molotov cocktails with seemingly enhanced properties, the fire spread over a greater area, was capable of causing much greater damage, and also actively pursued site security members. as well as crowbars, baseball bats, and makeshift shields (note all of this items exhibited capabilities that exceeded non anomalous versions of these weapons.) due to this site security suffered heavy casualties before neutralising the incursion. So far no members have been successfully captured.
  • A foundation task force was established in [redacted] after the first incursion to investigate the GOI. Task force was successfully able to uncover several instances of an unknown group using similar weapons, tactics, and uniforms. Often aiding various left-wing insurgencies and rebel groups (notably the ypg in northern Syria) a link was established with task force headquarters and SCP XXXX. multiple explosives were used to destroy the facility with few members of the task forcesurviving.
  • The largest incursion to date, approximately 30 black uniformed attackers established a link and attempted to storm site-17. Multiple anomalous humanoids assumed to be members of the serpent's hand where present, and succeeded in capturing multiple anomalous humanoids before MTF NU-7 (hammer down) was deployed and repelled the attackers. Foundation operatives managed to pursue the attackers into SCP XXXX before they could deactivate the link. The foundation maintained control SCP XXXX for approximately 30 hours (see testing log)

Testing log

  • Mtf nu-7 Managed to pursue the attackers into SCP XXXX and seize control over it. The attackers did manage to escape through the metal door however, and the foundation has been unable to pick, open, or damage the door in anyway. It's theorised some kind of key possessed by the attackers is required to open the door. After approximately three hours of testing researchers managed to establish a link between SCP XXXX and a foundation testing lab. The research team managed to test the ability of SCP XXXX and developed a strategy to prevent future incursions through modifications on all door in the foundation to no longer match photographs.

And ensuring all future photographs are sufficiently edited. All incursions have since ceased unfortunately foundation personnel were not aware of the time limit on door connections. And lost access to SCP XXXX without any operatives present inside.
