Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is in a humanoid containment cell with standard necessities. LED spotlights must be around the subject's cell, allowing no shadows in contact with the cell. Cameras must watch XXXX and XXXX-1 at all times. Any change in SCP-XXXX is to be reported immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the shadow of XXXX-1, Clarence Kenway. XXXX is a sentient shadow with the outlines of a mouth and eyes which move whenever XXXX is active. XXXX can detach itself from XXXX-1 to interact with shadows of objects or people. Subject has only left XXXX-1 on rare occasions. Reasons are unknown.

Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX's discovery was on December 3ed, 20██ in Charleston, West Virginia. XXXX-1's apprehension by authorities after breaking into the West Virginia State Museum. It was clear that his shadow was nonexistent. Put into the police database, the Foundation took XXXX-1 from custody for investigation.
