Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6601 is to be continually fired at with any firearm or explosive weapon if seen. This will slow it down enough to give the victim time to run away. If no firearms or other weapons are at hand, then you should shine a bright light at the SCP, which will paralyze it, in which time you can use to find a weapon.

SCP-6601 is currently being contained in a small 5x5 room that continually shines bright LED lights on it at all times. If these lights were to flicker at any moment, even if for a second, SCP-6601 will disappear, and all personal are to arm themselves immediately and try their best to survive until SCP-6601 can be contained again.

SCP-6601 is to be under constant supervision by at least one supervisor, who is to be regularly switched out. If a supervisor is not replaced every hour, then they will began screaming uncontrollably about how "the gods are angry at us". They will scream this phrase seven times before finding a blunt object and using it to smash the control panel for SCP-6601's containment cell to pieces, leading to the SCP's escape.

Note, do not under any circumstance come into contact with this SCP. Anyone who does come into contact will be terminated immediately, and their body is to be burned. When taking the body away make sure no skin or other natural organism comes into contact with it, and if they do, make sure they are also terminated and their bodies burned.

Description: SCP-6601 appears to be a tall humanoid, with the appearance of a near featureless male. It's only facial features are two bright, glowing blue eyes, which do disappear when a light is shined on the creature. It build appears to be muscular, with it's lower body dissolving into a thick black mist. It's skin is an unnaturally dark black. Many personal and D-class who have seen the creature say that it's skin, especially when lit up by bright lights, seems to reflect their darkest thoughts and their deepest fears. These fears will be played upon, leading many who look at SCP-6601 to commit suicide, either after the attack or during it. Many survivors of SCP-6601 say that it is evil, and claim that it 'torments them with it's whisperings'. One man explained this, saying that when around SCP-6601 he heard either people he once knew that were whispering to him, asking him to join them, and he heard still living people that were close to him say several hurtful insults, playing on his fears and self doubts.

Where ever SCP-6601 appears, a black mist always follows. This mist will fill up any object or room it's in, leaving permanent damage in the form of several deep slashes in the walls the mist touches. In these deep gashes a thick black liquid can be found. This liquid has been described as painful to the touch by D-class who have committed crimes such as murder or cannibalism, but to D-class with crimes like minor thievery or aggravated assault the liquid has been described as warm and pleasant. To D-class who have committed no crimes, the liquid has been said to spark a warm, calming feeling inside them. Many who have touched the liquid that have felt this warm sensation will however become addicted to it if given prolonged exposure, and one man who held it in his hand for several hours commited suicide after personal refused to give him more of the liquid. But for people who felt pain while touching the liquid things are much worse. Many experience crippling anxiety and paranoia after only a minute of contact with the liquid.

The being was also reported by some to have deep stitches in the place where it's mouth should be. The stitches seem to be made of silver or some other shiny metal, and many who have looked at the stitches in SCP-6601's presence have reported feeling much calmer, as if the stitches take away from the SCP's terror. For this, the stitches have been labels SCP-6601-B.

Addendum: Several tests where done on SCP-6601. In one test, we had a D-class walk into a hallway where SCP-6601 was frequently seen at. We had him hold a cat to see if SCP-6601's anomalous effects were only specfic to humans, or if they worked on animals. What we found is that SCP-6601 seemed to enjoy the cats presence. The SCP even disappeared and reappeared in front of the D-class to pet the cat. Unfortunately, the anomalies sudden appearance startled the D-class, who dropped the cat. This seemed to great upset the anomaly, who reportedly thrusted it's right hand into the D-class's chest, pulling out his heart, which promptly destigrated. The D-class's body then rotted, and latter was reported to reanimate itself, killing 45 personal before finally being killed by a lab explosion, set off by the now deceased Dr.Deeken. Latter reports said that SCP-6601 took the cat, and now whenever the anomaly appears, faint meows can be heard.

Another test was conducted with a female D-class who was a single mother. When she went into the frequently visited hallway, she did not experience any of the previously stated effects of SCP-6601. Instead, the anomaly's eyes turned a light yellow, and it appeared in front of the D-class. SCP-6601 reportedly touched the D-classes head, then disappeared, leaving behind a large stack of 100 dollar bills. The money was immediately taken away and burned for safety measures. Unfortunately, anyone who took said money or was involved in burning it was found dead thirteen days later, with all of their hearts found missing. All of the bodies involved were burned, and no further incident occurred. The same test was carried out except with a single father, and the same thing happened, except this time the D-class was able to keep the money.

The next test involved two D-class. They were put in the hallway together, and one was forced to torture the other. When SCP-6601 appeared it immediately killed the D-class who was torturing the other D-class. The anomaly then proceed to heal all of the tortured D-classes injuries before disappearing. The healed D-class was tested for anything out of the ordinary. What was found was that the D-class was actually in better health than the average human. Despite being overweight before the test, the D-class was now in perfect shape, along with all his internal organs working in above par condition.

Another test was carried out. This test involved a perfectly average D-class, with little problems in his life. He also had no wife, children, or parents. What happened was the ussal encounter with SCP-6601. The D-class heard whispers of dead relatives and friends calling to him, along with the voice of still living friends calling him 'useless' and proceeding to say very personal insults against him. The D-class, which no weapons or light on him, attempts to run away, but fell into a hole in the ground that seemed to come from no where. The D-class died as soon as he fell into the hole. ANother similar experiment was conducted, where the D-class was ordered to stand in place, or else they would be terminated. The D-class followed orders, and after 10 minutes or so of standing completely still SCP-6601 disappeared.

The D-class was then tested. It was discovered that the D-class's brain was slowly dissolving, and the D-class tried several times to commit suicide before the dissolving process completed itself. All of the D-classes attempts failed, and three days after the D-class's encounter with SCP-6601 all of their organs shut down, and their body began to decompose at an accelerated rate. Despite this, the D-classes brain was still activate two days after bodily shut down, before what remained of their decomposing brain exploded, causing a chain reaction as the rest of the D-classes body exploded, then disappeared shortly afterwards. Now whenever SCP-6601 is spotted, the silhouette outline of the D-class can be seen, screaming as if they are being tortured.

The final test was conducted by top case researcher Dr.Evan [REDACTED] who attempted to talk with SCP-6601. Dr.Evan [REDACTED] sat in the hallway SCP-6601 frequented. When the anomaly appeared, Dr.Evan [REDACTED] immediately began the interview.

DR.EVAN: Hello. My name is Evan [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. I have a few questions for you.

SCP-6601 does not respond, instead staring blankly at the doctor. Dr. Evan repeats his question, but again SCP-6001 does not respond. When the anomaly does not respond to Dr.Evan's other questions, the doctor becomes frustrated and angrily asks why the SCP won't respond to him. Much to the doctor's surprise, SCP-6601 respondes, saying "Not you, the gods like those like you." Dr.Evan latter described SCP-6601's voice sounds like a "thousand people speaking at once in prefect unison." Dr. Evan [REDACTED] also described the voice as sparking and unshakable since of dread in him, making him paranoid for three days after the encounter. Unlike the D-class though, Dr.Evan [REDACTED]'s brain seems to be in perfect working condition, and in fact seems to be more active than normal.

After the encounter Dr.Evan [REDACTED], with the help of six mentally troubled D-class managed to trap SCP-6601 in his containment cell, which is in the same hallway that the being frequented. Dr. Evan [REDACTED] then ordered the case to be closed. Dr.Evan also ordered for a warning to be put in place for when SCP-6601 escaped. According to Dr.Evan [REDACTED], you must alway do this when SCP-6601 escapes: "[DATA EXPUNGED]".
