The Happy Little Accident

Item #: 5104

Object Class: Safe

Containment Procedures: SCP-5104 has no special containment procedures. SCP-5104 is to be kept in a public space, and is most often seen in cafeterias or break rooms. All personnel are to be given access to SCP-5104, including SCPs and D-Class personnel. Should any particular person or SCP request it, SCP-5104 is to be located to their area to help prevent breaches and to assist staff. SCP-5104 isn't particular to any Site, and can easily be moved between Sites.

Description: SCP-5104 is a painting of a valley, with a bright sky and a mountain range on the left side. A lake and stream is seen in the center, and there are bushes and trees dotted around the entire painting. SCP-5104 is a painting created by the artist Bob Ross, and the source of the object's power is unknown. SCP-5104 has an effect on all creatures with any form of life, including robotic anomalies. SCP-5104 gives those effected a feeling of "Contentment and happiness, like every mistake I've ever made was a good thing, and just an accident. A happy little accident, not a big mistake. It made me feel good, like there wasn't anything wrong in the world, and it made me really wanna beat the Devil out of a 2-inch paintbrush." Because of the benefits that SCP-5104 provides, and the surprising lack of 2-inch paintbrushes on all Sites, the SCP is considered Safe, and is to be provided to all. Should an SCP be experiencing extreme stress, or a staff member or D-Class need a psychological break, SCP-5104 is to be accessible.
