Special containment procedures: The hunter’s quiver must be kept at least 50 meters from any sentient scps if the quiver doesn’t have a host to avoid any hunters made from scps. The cell of the scp must be lined with scp 148 to limit its psychic range. In the case of the quiver having a host the hunter must be moved to his/her second cell which should have a target for entertainment. In the case of a breech all arrows must be deactivated before terminating the current hunter.
Description: the object is a leather quiver with a seemingly endless amount of arrows, some with blue tips and some with green. If the quiver is placed on any sentient creature then it’s body will morph into a humanoid shape if not already and a hood and cloak made of organic material baring the same dna of the host will sprout out of the host’s upper back. The creature wearing the quiver will cause brain death to whatever creature is wearing it and replace it with an alternative conscience that goes by the hunter. The hunter is a highly violent human who claims that he was from the Middle Ages. If he sees a human being he will draw an arrow from his quiver. If multiple humans are there then he will use a blue tipped arrow that he calls a quick kill arrow and will control it with his mind to slay all of the people by turning the arrow and speeding it up to make it burst through the chests of all nearby people. If only one person is nearby then he will use a green tipped arrow that he calls a mutilation arrow which will kill the nearby human with a bit more flourish and will cause a lot more pain. If the hunter can’t see anyone then he is relatively good natured and is more than happy to answer the foundation’s questions. If the current hunter dies then any adjustments that were made to the creature will be undone and the hooded cloak will crumble to ash however the quiver will remain. The quiver will cause the same affect but if it doesn’t get a host within a month then it will find a creature within 50 meters and try to use psychic powers to make a new sentient creature come to it.
The scp was discovered after reports of a bipedal tiger killing people in a village in France. The foundation investigated and contained it not knowing how the quiver worked. The tiger ended up being terminated but the quiver wasn’t contained correctly resulting in scp [REDACTED] being transformed into a hunter resulting in multiple breeches. Because of this the quiver is under no circumstances allowed to be in the same facility as 682. If one of the arrows that the hunter fires stops moving for 0.564 seconds then it deactivates and reverts to a normal arrow with a grey tip that has been identified as lead. If an arrow is still active after the termination of the current hunter then it will become a “rouge arrow” and will act like the hunter, killing anything that is nearby. If a rouge arrow gets anywhere near a hunter it will instantly try to terminate them. All rouge arrows must be deactivated before a new hunter comes into existence.
