Special Containment Procedures: This object requires little containment precautions. However, no speech of any kind must be performed within SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber. The object has a 10cm diameter and 14cm height and is kept on a round table which needs no observation at any time.
The store in which SCP-XXXX was bought from has been shut down indefinitely, in order to protect potential buyers. If any more reports involving this object occur, the human in question must be contained, as well as the SCP.
Any human that makes speech inside of SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber must be kept in a protective room, with nothing inside for observation and security.
Description: SCP-XXXX Resembles a google home device. It needs no power source to be turned on. The object seems to be unbreakable after D Class Personnel 608422 was tasked to attempt to destroy the object with multiple tools such as a hammer, chainsaw, and steel ax.
SCP-XXXX-1 are the human “subjects” of SCP-XXXX. They show extreme signs of paranoia and mutter to themselves almost constantly. Even though fear that these types of devices steal your data to sell to advertisers, (which is often true), the SCP-XXXX-1 has reported that exactly 6 armed men stormed their home within a week of them purchasing a google home. Their shirts read “Data Collector”. Similar to ●●|●●●●●|●●|●, these men take all items and data relating to the SCP-XXXX-1 inside the house of the SCP-XXXX-1. Each time after this occurred, the men left a note saying:
“Your property is now that of Googlle’s. Thank you for accepting the terms and conditions.
Discovery: On 2 / 10 / 20 ██, a human male was reported to have symptoms of extreme paranoia. He described what happened to him in Interview XXXX-A.
Addendum:
Incident XXXX-1 On 11 / 10 / 20 ██, One of the SCP-XXXX-1 was able to kill themselves by bashing their head against their containment cell’s door. After this incident, more protective material was added to these cells, and it was determined that at least 2 people must be watching all of the SCP-XXXX-1 in order to protect them.
The following interview occurred on 14 / 10 / 20 █. All interviews were conducted from a safe distance, through an intercom.
Interview-XXXX-A
Interviewer: Dr █████
Interviewee: A 34-year-old male SCP-XXXX-1.

Dr █████: So you have been brought here in order to protect others from you. How does that make you feel?
The SCP just trembled in the corner of its containment cell.
Dr █████: All I want is for you to be safe.
The SCP continued to tremble.
Dr █████: Okay, I understand that you may not want to speak at this time. We really need information in order to protect you and others from this anomaly.
SCP: You can protect others? If that’s true I’ll give you all I know!
Dr █████: Yes, of course, it’s true. I’m only here to protect you.
SCP: When I first bought my google home, I thought it would be nice! But a week after I bought it, men began to raid my house and took everything that had any correlation to me. Ever since I’ve been incredibly paranoid about any electronics.
Dr █████: I never mentioned the google home… But that is good to know. Do you know the specific serial numb-
SCP: 29437934875.
Dr █████: Very specific. We will look into that. Thank you for your time.

Interviewers Note: The SCP-XXXX-1 seemed to mention its google home device without prompt, meaning that that may be the root of this issue. It also knows its serial number off by heart. The foundation id some research on the serial number and found that it linked to an offshore company in Norway called Googlle. The foundation has contacted the company that makes this device and they have not responded.
This interview happened 3 days later on 14 / 10 / 20 █ in an attempt to get information from a different source.
Interview-XXXX-B
Interviewer: Dr █████
Interviewee: A 23-year-old female SCP-XXXX-1.

Dr █████: Are you willing to share any information on your case of paranoia?
SCP: I can.
Dr █████: Thank you very much. First off, what do you believe is the cause of the paranoia?
SCP: Well I bought a google home on 2 / 10 / 20 █. It was going fine until one day when I was on my laptop, ready to watch ██████████.
Dr █████: That’s… a bit too much information for me. What happened on that day.
SCP: They… came through the door. They took everything. I can’t describe the fear. It was too much.
Dr █████: That is enough. Thank you for your time.

Interviewers Note: This SCP-XXXX-1 described the source of the paranoia as the google home, just the same as the first interviewed SCP-XXXX-1.
At 11:32 pm on 23 / 10 / 20 █, the foundation was able to find a worker that helped create the initial SCP-XXXX. Dr █████ was able to get an interview with him after he was placed in containment.
Interview XXXX-C
Interviewer: Dr █████

Dr █████: We were finally able to find you. You’ve ended a person's life and caused many others to be scarred for life. What do you have to say in your defense?
█████ ██████████ (In Norwegian): I did not intend for any of this to happen. The higher-ups are giving me orders.

█████ ██████████ (In English): Yes. I will repeat what I said. I did not intend for any of this to happen. The higher-ups are giving me orders.
Dr █████: What orders are those?
█████ ██████████: They have told me to not stop making these machines. I did not know what they did. All that I was doing was creating these things. I did the coding on this project. I cannot give you any more information. Thank you for this. If I am informed that I am able to share more I will. I respect what you are doing here.
Dr █████: Before you go, can you tell us your intentions?
█████ ██████████: We sell data to advertisers. Just like google.

Interviewers Note: The man that I interviewed worked for googlle. They mentioned that they sell to advertisers. This is valuable information, as we finally know what their intentions are. They also said that they would give us more information in the future. It has been a week and we have nothing so far.
