Note: Formatting and tone is WIP. Consider this a demo for the idea.
Object Class: Spooky

Special Containment Procedures: Contained within a lucky member of d-class kept in a waterproof, metal-free contaiment chamber. A new D class dude must be rotated in every 3 weeks for scp to inhabit. Current D-class must be provided with a steady supply of calcium-rich filtered water and calcium dense foods. Deliveries of these foods must come in sealed containers and not opened before placing in containment airlock.
Chamber to be guarded by no less than 2 guards outfitted with special issue polymer equipment. No metal must come withing 20 metres of containment area etc.
Any facility staff expressing compulsions such as nail biting/various other oral fixations must be anally probed or somethin.
Description: SCP-TOOTHFAIRY is a calcium-based symbiote/parasite lifeform that can only survive in living hosts, feeds on CALCIUM within the body.
Has some sort of memetic ability/neurotoxin to force hosts to compulsively bite fingernails, pick teeth, play with hair, pick nose, clip toenails on their own body. Eventually at later stages; the host will also be compelled to do all these to other humans, which is surely highly embarassing. This is the main way of spreading to other hosts. It is unknown whever each host symbiote is autonomous from each other or they share a consciousness.
SCP-BONEMAN will eventually become strong enough to force hosts to claw/chew open wounds on their own body to extract calcium from bloodstream. As SCP develops, it replaces hosts bones, teeth, hair, etc with itself (or an autonomous extremity of itself).
Control of bones in particular becomes hazardous as SCP is eventually able to physically overpower hosts usual muscle-based movements with SCPs calcium-powered BONE MOVEMENT (tm), essentially relegating host to being an unwilling passenger.
Movement at this point becomes staggered, clumsy and extremely painful for host, but SCP will attempt to keep host alive as long as possible; furfilling the hosts needs until all calcium is extracted from body (past host death. So yeah, the scp forces food into a corpse).
After this stage, SCP-CALCIUM will attempt to find a secluded underground area and enter a 'hibernation mode'. Tucking the deceased host's body into a ball and ceasing all movement.
In the event where SCP-BONES has successfully infected more than [REDACTED] individuals in the local area and is given a suitible environment (See Experiment log 20009), SCP-BONES will not go into hibernation mode but congregrate with other instances of SCP-BONES in a isolated area. Continue later.
TL;DR It takes over your BONES. Does the idea have merit?
