Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid (indicate which class)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a vault layered with various security protocols. The existence of SCP-XXXX is only to be disclosed to Level-4 personnel that 05-Command allow. Usage of SCP-XXXX is restricted to the members of the 05 council.[Paragraphs explaining the procedures]

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a form of text entry, constantly changing forms in order to suit its user's preferences. Analysis of SCP-XXXX's casing has proven it to be highly durable, capable of functioning in a full vacuum and withstanding blast magnitudes equivalent to that of a nuclear device. SCP-XXXX's current appearance is that of a laptop. Other recorded forms include a notebook, scroll, stone, clay, and digital tablets, as well as a wax board.

SCP-XXXX is in reality a device capable of warping future events according to what is written on it. If one was to enter an event into SCP-XXXX, complete with time, date, and location, these events would happen accordingly, no matter how unlikely they are. Attempting to affect anomalous items directly or indirectly has no effect. Otherwise, XXXX will take whatever measures needed in order to ensure that the events entered are carried out. If one was to enter "A singularity will appear in Site 19 three minutes from now," a singularity would appear in site 19 three minutes from the time of entry. Upon the entry of the event, a set of numerals appear next to the entry indicating the time and date of entry, the earliest known being at [DATA EXPUNGED], written in Cuneiform.

SCP-XXXX was found during an investigation of one committing suicide under mysterious circumstances. When local authorities discovered the device, and its data, a Foundation team was instantly dispatched in order to deal with the threat. Upon the collection of the device, Class-A amnesatics were administered to all non-Foundation personnel in the area, and any data pertaining to the existence of XXXX was removed from the internet.

A note was present on SCP-XXXX upon recovery. It reads as follows:

You can't let this fall into the wrong hands. Hell, I might not know why or how I got it, but I did the same. This thing? Oh god… I've seen what it's done. I know what I've done with it. If it falls into the wrong hands, there'll be disastrous consequences. It's been around for… forever. There have been people secretly controlling the war ever since the invention of writing! Whoever's reading this… Hide it. Don't use it. Destroy it if you can. This is my final message to the world.

Analysis of previous entries reveals the device to be responsible for events such as [DATA EXPUNGED]
