"The Man Of Wishes"

First Sighting of SCP-8953

This is a mission report from Sergeant [REDACTED].

Sergeant [REDACTED]: Is the microphone on?
"Doctor Genesis": Yes. Please say into it what you encountered on the mission to [REDACTED]. And please, leave out no details.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: Shall I be as vague or descriptive as possible?
"Doctor Genesis": Descriptive, please.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: Guess the best place to start would be the moment we arrived at [REDACTED]. My Commander and Lieutenant posted me and Trooper [REDACTED] at the door, while the rest of the squad entered. It was night, the wind chilly and the new moon hid in the blackness of the evening. Time passed, roughly about three hours before we heard from anyone who entered the building. They were screaming, violently, like as if they heard SCP-407, but, with the ultimate keyboard melody. We heard it barely when they came sprinting out, ears bleeding. Private [REDACTED] instantly dropped, his ears bleeding, same as theirs. I barely got to watch as the commander's head exploded before my eyes turned a red hue. Feeling my ears, I felt a warm liquid oozing down. Pulling my hand to my face, I could barely see the dripping liquid, which was darker than the hue on my eyes. Blood. The sound of popping filled the surrounding area as everyone's head exploded. Then, it stopped. The sound, the bleeding, the clouds in the sky, everything. Just frozen. As if someone hit a stop button. My vision returned to watch as a male, about 31 years of age, easily English descent, with brown autumn hair, and rich golden glowing eyes, approached me. He was wearing a brown overcoat which barely fell to his black boots, stained red. One his head was a fedora, same color as the overcoat, tipped downwards. He stood roughly 6'4, not really tall, but he walked with the feel. Around his feet, grass and plants grew, only to die once he left. The lightless moon seemed to spotlight him. His expression was a simple smirk as he stood right in my face, offering me a hand up. Naturally, I hesitated instead of taking it but felt, what would be a good word, reluct, to take it? Unsure. Without missing a beat after I got up, I looked down to grab my M4, only to look back up and see he was gone. Laughter, oh, the sound, filled the area faster than I thought possible. Echoing off the walls, rebounding at me. He stood on the roof of a house, his golden eyes glaring at me. From that distance away, he spoke, his voice like spreading butter on toast, the smoothness of it was unnatural. We spoke, it was a simple conversation. I have submitted the recording.

"Doctor Genesis": This? Play it. -A click is heard in the background of the report.-

SCP-8953: You're welcome.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: I assume I am alive due to something you did if you were saying that.
SCP-8953: Yes. Hence why I said, you're welcome. Now, we need to have a conversation.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: About?
SCP-8953: What SCP number you are thinking of giving me while you try to signal command with the remote in your hand.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: How did you know about that? Wait, where did you go?
SCP-8953: Behind you.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: HOLY CHRIST, WHY AND HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?
SCP-8953: The limits of what I can do, an interesting thought, is almost a joke.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: So, you are nearly omnipotent?
SCP-8953: Omnipotent is the ability to do whatever the user desires, yes? Sadly, I do not have this full ability. I have something close, but not the full thing. I have my limits.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: Okay, then. Tell me, what are your goals?
SCP-8953: Hard questions already? To say it simply, I do not have a set 'plan' of action.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: So, you are doing as you please?
SCP-8953: No. I am doing what I need to do. You play a part that you do not know yet. From what I learned, you are called 'Reptile-Killer.' Why? It baffles me. Now, turn off the recorder, we have a lot to talk about.

-A click is heard in the report-

"Doctor Genesis": So, what happened after the recording stopped?
Sergeant [REDACTED]: I cannot say.
SCP-8953: Good boy.

-The sound of clatter and an OH SH** can be heard.-

"Doctor Genesis.": That, is utterly terrifying.
Sergeant [REDACTED]: I know.
SCP-8953: Got a minute, Doc?

-A distant male voice can be heard to say 'Where did they just go?' Another speaks up, saying 'I wish I knew, stop the report.'-

Interview with "The Man of Wishes."

Please note, this is not his deemed title.

The following is an interview with SCP-8953 and D-Class-⬛⬛⬛⬛
For the sake of the report, we will be calling SCP-8953, Kalos, per his request for this, and D-Class-⬛⬛⬛⬛ will be DC. Although the video will be much better for it.
The location of the interview is Site-⬛⬛. Current local time: ⬛⬛:⬛⬛ ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛.
The list of questions was comprised from the mind of Doctor ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛.

Item #: SCP-8953

Object Class: Euclid-Thaumiel Keter-Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: Containment not possible.

Description: A 6'4 English male with golden eyes autumn brown hair. He dawns a light brown fedora and overcoat with a black t-shirt and jeans. He wears black work boots with dried blood on them.

DC: Let's start with the questions. What/Who are you?
Kalos: I am a simple entity, existing in this impossible world. Stuck trying to make heads or tails of what you should know.
DC: Where did you come from?
Kalos: I was a D-Class, like yourself, before I was thrown into SCP-914 on course with a hand grenade wrapped around my neck. I should actually be dead. I found myself, someplace else, not dead, but not living. In this sort of space, I met an all-powerful entity, who said it would grant me 5 wishes to use for my desire. It said each wish would come with a counter towards it. Like if I wish to read minds, I would not be able to speak, or something of the sort.
DC: This is not on the list, but please, tell me what you wished for.
Kalos: Fine, if it is to satisfy your hunger for knowledge. My first wish was Omniscience. The drawback with this was I could only know what has been found out from anyone in the world. My second, understanding the drawbacks was for omnipresence. This drawback was that I could not be in a place that was not known to another. For instance, I could not go to the center of the earth, as no one has been there. The third wish was for reality manipulation. The drawback there was I can only change the reality for myself and one other person. The fourth wish was for omnipotence, but the drawback was I could only give overs what they desired most in the world at that time. My last wish was simply to come back here.
DC: Damn, those are actually some decent drawbacks. Why did you agree to this interview?
Kalos: I have already talked with, "Doctor Genesis", and Sergeant [REDACTED]. Maybe it was the time the rest of the foundation knew.
DC: Going back to your abilities, are you able to use more than one at a time?
Kalos: No, sadly. Although I have tried. I attempted to view the desires of everyone on the planet, hopefully creating some sort of utopia, but my omniscience refused to work with my omnipotence. Do you remember that earthquake in ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛? That was sadly the outcome of attempting to use more than one at a time. Though, when it comes to reality manipulation and omnipotence, I can use those at one.
DC: Are you able to read minds to any degree?
Kalos: No. Your council is happy to know that that though. O5-⬛ just seen dancing in an office.
DC: Do you plan to use the gifts for good reasons, or for reasons of horrible nature?
Kalos: That depends. I have saved the lives of Sergeant [REDACTED] and a few other people, as they wished it greatly. But I did also kill a few people who desired to die above all else.
DC: How far is your range on your omniscience?
Kalos: Well, a lad in ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ just found an SCP. The doctors behind that glass just all thought up giving me the classification Euclid-Thaumiel. And, a guard found SCP-999 at Site-⬛⬛ hugging a cookie for some reason.
DC: Holy damn, that is impressive.
Kalos: Thank you.
DC: Do you have a set plan?
Kalos: One, yes, but enough about that.
DC: Do you want to be contained?

-A brief stop in the video, Kalos is no longer in the room with DC. Although a second later, he returns with two burritos.-

DC: That a no….? Or are you gonna—are those burritos?
Kalos: Yes. You just felt you were hungry, so I went to get you one. And why should I not enjoy one as well?
DC: Where did you get the money?
Kalos: Next question, after we enjoy the burritos.

-Kalos and DC are seen eating the burritos and talking. The conversation was about burritos, so it has been struck out.-

DC: That was good.
Kalos: Indeed.
Unknown Doctor: Please do not proceed to casual talk and finish the questions, D-Class-⬛⬛⬛⬛. SCP-8953, please do not attempt to leave the interview in that manner again.
DC: Sorry about this. Do you plan to hurt or work against the foundation in any way?
Kalos: If they get in my way. Actually, strike that answer out. Let's just say, no for now.
DC: Do you know of any way the foundation could contain you?
Kalos: No, but if they were to find out, I would know it instantly and be able to counter it.
DC: Going back to the question before the burritos. Do you want to be contained?
Kalos: -With noticeable vocal changes in the audio part of the video- No. I spent five years stuck in a cell waiting to die at the hands of some SCP or as a subject for an experiment. Let me as you a question, D-Class-⬛⬛⬛⬛. If you have the option to be able to leave this place freely, yet come back and continue to help them with their goals, would you? WOULD YOU?! -The video shows SCP-8953 breaking the table.-
DC: -Backed away from the now broken and backed into a corner.- Take it easy. Please.
Kalos: I believe, you may be right, but however, I am done with questions.

-On the tape, DC is shown to be running out of breathable air, grabbing his neck, only to strangle himself to death. Kalos glares at the camera before vanishing from the tapes.-

Unknown Doctor: End the video. And get someone here to clean up that body. Change that classification to Keter-Thaumiel.
