Never let SCP-XXXX come into contact with SCP-YYYY unless directed by Class B personnel. Both have been contained in site-84 for feeding and research purposes. Personal that interacts with SCP-XXXX should also read the file on SCP-YYYY.
When ANY interaction is to occur with SCP-XXXX, there must be at least four personal members present. They are to be instructed to look down at all times. If a member becomes entranced by SCP-XXXX, another member must tackle them and break their eye contact while the rest restain the entity. The member SCP-XXXX targeted must then be replaced. To restrain SCP-XXXX, two personnel members grab its arms and hold them downward forcefully.
Cover stories are generated about SCP-XXXX's victims. Witnesses are to be interviewed and given amnestics.
Description:
Synopsis
SCP-XXXX appears to give its victims extreme visual, auditory, and tactile hallucinations. While in this "trance", the victims have been reported to only be able to stare at the entity and slowly move toward it. Those that have suffered from these episodes and survived have reported talking to and trying to make amends with fathers, brothers, and men in their life. I have come to name these as Role-Models "Father Figures". It appears that SCP-XXXX preys on victims with a broken relationship with a Father Figure.

Appearance
SCP-XXXX appears to be a 2.07 meter tall, male human, dressed in what appears to be a black pin-striped suit with a bowler cap. Upon further investigation, the "suit" is not worn but rather consists of the epidermis and dermis of the entity. The rest of the entity appears to have pale human skin. It has no ears or hair. Its limbs and digits are grossly elongated. The face has been reported to have the appearance of a normal human face melted and smoothed. Many people tasked with containing SCP-XXXX have reported the six-fingered hand. This has lead to an urge to look at the face of the entity despite being clearly commanded not to.

Hallucinations
The hallucinations are triggered the instant a human looks into SCP-XXXX's face. The victim reports all stated that they "sat and talked" to a Father Figure in a "place of significance" to that relationship. The Father Figures described have typically been in these categories: absent, abusive, prematurely deceased, brothers in father roles, and fatherly teachers & family friends. Multiple victims have reported talking to Father Figures that they have never met. When questioned how they knew the face of someone they never met, they answered along the lines of they "just knew."
According to direct witnesses, the victims could not hear, see, or feel anything that happened to them in reality. Witnesses have reported trying to inflict a painful sensation to the victims to attempt to bring them out of the trance to no avail. The only method successful was forcefully prying the victim away to a distance or behind an obstruction where the entity was no longer visible. If physical contact is made with the entity while the subject is hallucinating, the trance is unbreakable no matter how much distance is placed between SCP-XXXX and its prey. DO NOT LOOK AT ITS FACE
The entity is able to keep multiple victims in a trance but the limits have not yet been discovered if any exist. The most ever reported is six.
Behavior
SCP-XXXX shares a predatorial symbiotic relationship that is obligate mutual with SCP-YYYY. SCP-XXXX traps the prey while SCP-YYYY breaks it down. Without the other, they are practically harmless. SCP-XXXX tends to be docile and seems to have no intention of pursuit. Its hunting methods appear to be akin to that of a more mobile venus flytrap, waiting for its prey. This behavior allows for many measurements to be taken as long as the containment procedures are followed.
In the wild, estimates believe the pair survived on one fully grown human every two weeks. In containment, we have to consistently give it 100 pounds of animal carcass per day to keep them alive. Originally they were reluctant to consume animal but appear to know it is the only thing sustaining them now. I believe they have a craving to taste human again. The specification of how SCP-XXXX feeds are unknown but the resulting black residue require the containment unit to be cleaned monthly.
While SCP-XXXX tends to be docile, there have been reports and it has been observed to attack certain individuals. It is believed that when the entity cannot find and broken relationship with a Father Figure, it becomes aggressive to the victim it tried to entrance. It has been shown to attempt to hold its prey forcefully whether by choking, pinning, or grabbing it. This, however, can be overcome by an average person since it does not have great strength, but there have been observed cases were victims were choked to death. Attempts to visually document and monitor SCP-XXXX have resulted in the entity becoming violent and destroying the photographic device.
Addendum:
SCP-XXXX was discovered alongside SCP-YYYY when reports came in of search parties only finding a black residue with traces of the missing person's DNA. It was concluded that both entities fed from the missing persons.
Tests have been run by subjecting class-D personal to a trance for no longer than 10-minute ensuring no physical contact was made with the entity. Two Three fatalities reported.
