Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Must be safely secured by the sides in a steel tube. Nothing may be touching the point. Air pressure in the chamber must be maintained to be minimal in order to limit risk of applying pressure to the graphite.
Description: SCP-XXXX at first glance is an ordinary #2 pencil made by the Ticonderoga company. Originally discovered on the subway tracks in Manhattan, New York, SCP-XXXX was noticed by Dr. █████ ██████, who quickly retrieved it after seeing it hit by a train and left untouched. Dr. ██████ had it sent to Site-██ to have it analyzed.
After a number of tests, it was determined that SCP-XXXX was safe. It was left in a minimum security chamber for a number of years until a D-Class decided to use it. Prior to this, SCP-XXXX had never been sharpened as it hadn't dulled from testing. The D-Class sharpened it and upon pressing it to the paper an explosion equivalent to that of an Atomic Bomb was triggered. This is known thanks to recovered security footage from Site-██.
Upon investigating the crater that once was Site-██, researchers found that the only thing left of the facility was SCP-XXXX, which has since been moved to Site-██. Further testing on SCP-XXXX has been prohibited for risk of triggering another atomic-level explosion.
