Revised Special Containment Procedures: The corpses of the SCP-6796 instances have been buried outside the entrance to Site-89, per request of Site Director Hollender and the helmet of SCP-6796-Alpha is to be in Director Hollender's office for ornamental purposes. Personnel found tampering with the memorial is to be given a warning, and continued tampering is at the discretion of Director Hollender.

Description: SCP-6796 is a collection of 500 instances created from stone in Mount Diablo where Site-89 is located under. Every instance is identical in form, appearance, and mannerism. However, they all possess different roles within their garrison force. All SCP-6796 instances are 1.9 meters tall, and wear the uniform of a medieval knight but possess a smooth helmet with a T-shaped hole filled with an unidentified glowing purple liquid, currently awaiting chemical breakdown.

Discovery: SCP-6796 instances were first discovered outside of Site-89, as SCP-6701 breached containment and was exiting through Site Entrance Alpha. The instances emerged from the ground and attacked SCP-6701, overwhelming it with brute force. While SCP-6701 terminated 24 instances of SCP-6796, the entities persisted and forced SCP-6701 to retreat back into Site-89. With the help of Mobile Task Force Titan-1 ("Off the Books") and Mobile Task Force Sigma-7 ("Curtain Call") the subjects managed to re-contain SCP-6701 with few casualties. Following the re-containment of SCP-6701, Director Hollender interviewed SCP-6796-Alpha.

Addendum-6796-1: Interview Log

Foreword: The following interview was conducted 45 minutes after discovery.

Dir. Hollender: Good day, Alpha. We have a few questions for you, as you may have guessed.

Alpha: I am prepared to answer all questions you may have.

Dir. Hollender: Excellent. Thank you for your cooperation. Firstly, how exactly did you know SCP-6701 was breaching containment?

Alpha: The beast? We were awoken to the call of action to protect this land, as it is our duty as protectorates.

Dir. Hollender: How long have you been under the ground?

Alpha: I'm not sure what you mean.

Dir. Hollender: What was the last mode of transportation you remember seeing here?

Alpha: Horse and carriage.

Dir. Hollender: I see. How many guardians are there?

Alpha: Over the centuries, we've battled many evils and defeated mighty foes. This has taken a toll on us, our numbers are low as our creator has long since passed.

Dir. Hollender: What is your purpose here?

Alpha: To serve and protect.

Dir. Hollender: Do you protect this area here?

Alpha: Yes.

Dir. Hollender: If we run you and your garrison through some tests, would you like to guard this area? Specifically the area within the mountain.

Alpha: This is acceptable.

Dir. Hollender: All right SCP-6796-Alpha, thank you for your time. We will examine your fine guards immediately.

Closing Statement: Directly following this interview, all SCP-6796 instances were put through training exercises, and the MTF Training and Tactics center and were deemed fit to act as security personnel at Site-89.
