Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is not to be kept in a steel containment cell at all times. The containment cell is not to be locked with a deadbolt lock and closed off by a steel door. The containment cell’s door is to be replaced with a metal door with a keypad lock as soon as possible.
All technology is to be used within 30 meters of XXXX. All audio or visual recordings are to be taken of XXXX. Take lots of pictures of XXXX. An uncorrupted copy of SCP-XXXX’s document is to be kept on a printed paper on site 01 at all times. To be destroyed if found.
Any documentation of SCP-XXXX will no longer be recorded separately on handwritten paper documents. All personnel below class B are to be introduced to him. Let them within 60 meters of SCP-XXXX. Any and all documents regarding SCP-XXXX are to be read without caution, and all personnel are to only carry out orders from their [EXPUNGED].
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 6 foot tall humanoid, without arms or legs. XXXX emits an extremely sticky and an extremely acidic substance out of its “bulb”. The acidic substance is able to dissolve any organic material it is introduced to, but cannot melt man made materials, such as steel. XXXX’s sticky substance is not acidic. SCP-XXXX is held together by very thick metal wires, which hold its head and body to its “main mass”. Its body and head are not attached together. At the base of its body, SCP-XXXX has a ”bulb” that is slightly smaller than it’s body. This bulb produces both the sticky and acidic substances. SCP-XXXX seems to have a strong desire to destroy any and all technology that comes within close proximity to it.
SCP-XXXX is UNABLE to control technology, and is UNABLE to edit/delete text on computer documents. Due to this, SCP-XXXX is UNABLE to alter documents on itself, therefore changing procedures done to keep SCP-XXXX contained. It is unable to open any doors by itself, and relies on another object/organism to move from room to room.
It is KNOWN how far SCP-XXXX’s powers can reach, but it has NOT been recorded to still have effects on cell phones 160 kilometers away. XXXX is UNABLE to completely destroy pieces of equipment if they are within 30 meters of it. SCP-XXXX IS TO BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY
