SCP-XXXX
The Mirror?
Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is hung on a wall made of brick and cement in the middle of a small room. The wall is the same wall it was found on, since it cannot be taken off. This small room is in the middle of a low security interrogation chamber. SCP-XXXX is watched 24 hours everyday, with short 5 minute intervals between the hours of 11:55 AM to 12:00 PM, and 11:55 PM to 12:00 AM.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a large mirror with a metal outline. Its surface cannot be damaged, and never has to be cleaned. When a light is on, there appears to be no anomolous effects. However, when there is no to little light, it will happen. Several D-Class personell and Researcher Thomas Outfield have reported many effects, most being the same and some standing out. Within 5 minutes of watching their reflection, all state that their reflection starts to vibrate and jitter, and its head will appear to move abnormally. They begin to question if their reflection is their's. Within 10 minutes of watching their reflection, all state that they don't recognise their reflection. A red glow begins to appear behind their reflection, but doesn't appear in real life. Within 17 minutes of watching their reflection, most subjects state that they see their reflection as nothing, something they can't even work out. The rest gave up the experiment. Within 24 minutes of watching their reflection, all remaining subjects begin to see their reflection as a monster or beast. The red glow behind them became increasingly bigger and stronger. Blood began to come down from the walls. The room's door opened by itself, and the sounds of screaming could be heard. After 29 minutes of watching their reflection, all had given up except 3, including Thomas Outfield.
