Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4085 must be kept in a soundproof locker. When personnel must open the safe door, they are prohibited from communicating verbally except for affirmative or negative responses.
Description: SCP-4085 is a 50 centimeters by 25 centimeters long audio recorder with two rolls of tape. SCP-4085 is running on an infinite power supply, and will record sounds around it constantly. If SCP-4085 hears anybody make a vow or a promise, it will record it.
Upon breaking the promise, the person who made it will develop a disease SCP-4085-b, that initiates unbearable pain in the lower stomach area. after 10-20 minutes the person who developed the disease will vomit blood uncontrollably, and later die of blood loss. Tests on the machines memory have been conducted at several times from 1 day, up to 6 months with no faults.
SCP-4085 was discovered in an old office building in north Germany, at ██/█/████.
