"Debug Room"
The debug room is a room that accesses your thoughts and creates doors to travel to any level that you have discovered. The walls are painted blue and there are brown doors. You can access this level by no clipping while in the negative levels. Though you have to do it in a certain spot otherwise you'll end up in Level -0 and if you mess up you can get to places worse than the backrooms. All of the doors are automatically unlocked. Also, you can never meet any humans or entities because it is different for everyone. There is also a pc with a file named DeQy.mp3 attempting to use the file will teleport you to a random level. Though theoretically, if you send the file via Bluetooth you can send it to the desktop in The End though this is yet to be proven.
"The Map Room"
The map room is a single room with a large 3d holographic map that shows many different rectangular prisms with the name of the specific level and unique colors labeled on them; these correspond to different levels located in the back rooms. Whenever a new level is discovered (whether or not the level has to be documented and shared to appear on the holographic map is up to question) a new rectangular prism appears on the map. Arrows intersecting the prisms show which level or room you can get to from any other level or room and which levels that are accessible to you. The large holographic map is projected from a bright, spinning cube. Staring at the projection cube will cause blindness. After the first few people looked at the cube too long a fancy metal placard was added to the table by an unknown person. The placard states in fancy cursive "Don't look at it, dumb***" The projection cube along with the holographic map sits on top of an antique douglas fir table, with no signs of use or any visible stains. The walls contain no doors other than the door shaped hole and are all painted a dark color. The table, 3d map, and room increase in size whenever a new level is discovered to accommodate the new addition to the map; how the room and walls do this is up to question. Other than the table and spinning projector cube there is a plant of unknown species in a brown earthen pot that can seemingly teleport around the room whenever it leaves your line of sight, the plant will always end up in a corner, however.
"Level 1 .INV"
Level -1.INV is a weird level where the fabric of reality seems to be distorted, sometimes granting the ability to float to people. Other strange things happen, INV allegedly stands for Invalid. These strange occurrences can have negative impacts on an explorer's health and sanity. There is a strange noise filter covering everything causing headache over time, along with the infinite unchanging buzzing of the lights; The level is usually half loaded. This could be an explanation as to why the level is distorted and why objects duplicate, change, and appear clipped through the ground.
"Level Lost"
What is "loss"
"Loss" is a grueling level of the backrooms, consisting of only a few entities other than yourself. The section is called lost due to making you feel much more lost than normal. The place itself is an oddity in the backrooms, as it takes place in multiple different places.
Smelly Factory
The first is a factory that is connected by hallways but scattered around are huge rooms filled with powered conveyor belts, about 5 feet wide, and have no limitations to how long they can be. Strange smelling cans filled with black gas can be found on the conveyors, and rarely an item from the world you use to know will be on a conveyor. After about 1-2 hours of wandering through the factory you'll see a door that will re-appear on almost every wall you come across if you ignore it. If you continue to ignore it you will end up in Guggenheim. Once you enter the door you'll enter a place simply called "Child's room"
Child's Room
The child's room is a deceiving name, as this is one of the reasons this "Loss" is one of the most grueling levels of the backrooms. The room itself is a 30 by 45-foot room, with a wallpaper of outer space, and the ceiling is just white plaster. In the room are a few toy boxes, with various things from power tools to dirt, in one report even a bulletproof vest. There is a bed in the corner, that usually has a corpse in it and nearby a vintage record player is next to the bed, that when played will burst the eardrums of anyone listening to it. If the record is removed or the turntable is damaged it will instantly turn to dust. If you stay here too long the nail stealer will come
Guggenheim
The final section of this level is called Fuggenheil due to a sign on a wall that says "Fuggenheil, 491". The section itself is mostly made up of old stone brick walls with hard-packed dirt floors. This is the Nail stealer's base and it knows you're there. The only source of light here is from a strange type of fungi that retains light that hits it and reflects it back over a long amount of time. Deathmoths have rarely been found here, but they can be.
"Level Infinity"
Level "∞" is a plane terminal that seems to stretch on forever. Windows showing the "outside world" are all whited out and should be avoided at all costs. Due to its nature, it is one of the most dangerous places in the Backrooms at "night". Basically, every entity to have ever wandered the Backrooms at any point in time will be here at "night", which is why this level is strange. It has its own day and night cycle, during the night all the windows turn purple and open. It is unknown what happens when you enter the windows, but it is theorized that it will take you to either another random level or an unfound level.
It is still not known why the level is such a high number, since it would be impossible to have smaller numbers than that. (Note, the level itself wasn't infinity originally, it was rounded up to infinity after an anonymous person claimed to have seen an indescribably large number over the terminal doors.)
Level "Infinity" has many useful resources lying around, mostly found in the many stores stretching on for a good while, but after about 2 kilometers of stores, they become empty and more desolate the further you walk. These stores can hold things like flashlights, electric lighters, food, water, and any normal day thing you could find in a store.
After being in Level "Infinity" for too long, travelers may start hallucinating, seeing their precious loved ones and friends. This is an unknown anomaly that is said to cause these strange hallucinations. Along with telepathic messages from an unknown individual, speaking in an extraterrestrial language, which can still be understood mentally.
One of the survivors of Level "Infinity" believes that the plane terminal itself may have some undiscovered telepathic anomaly in it
The Library"
The Library resembles an average modern library. There are windows in this place but they are just TV static. The books are about general knowledge about Backrooms. Some books are also blank with pages ripped out. There also tables with chairs behind the shelves, with piles of random pages from books in the middle of the tables. The only entity that lives here is "The Librarian".
The Librarian
The Librarian is an entity that knows everything possible to know about the Backrooms. It wanders around the Library and if you are there occasionally checks on you. However, if you read enough of the books in the Library, and plan to use the knowledge maliciously, it will turn hostile and kill you. It will also turn hostile if you take pictures of this place. But if you plan to do nothing with it, or do it for good, it will take you to The True End. The Librarian's appearance is a purple figure with long tentacles similar to and Octopus. It is also speculated that it has immense power and even created some of the higher levels of the Backrooms.
"Level Omega"
In Level Omega, you can float around in this space, but don't pay attention to the view. If you stare at the view for around five minutes, you will experience pain, similar to childbirth. Then, your vision will fade out for around ten hours, with no pain, nothing, until you see some occurrences. It will be the greatest moments you will experience in the future, no matter what. Then you will experience the worst parts of your life, all the future pain, even your own death. Then, a bright light will shine on your image. then, for another ten hours, it will all be white. After that, you will face a maze, which appears as hallways for a mental asylum. If you follow your heart, you will find the exit from the level, If you don't, you will be caught by your demons and trapped in something even worse than the backrooms.
"Level Delta"
Level Δ, the Δ is pronounced delta, is like the exact opposite of Level 18. Instead of the past, It will represent your future fate. Level Δ will resemble a place of a downfall of your life in the future. And, there will be entities called Imminent. It will be people in the future that will let you down at that time. Your job is to make it through it. If you fail, you will hide in a small room, and then you will hear a voice. It will be your future self saying the most painful things about you. It is because your future self will always hate you. This conversation will last from a minute up to two hours. It may vary. Then, you will be transported to a random level lower than 9. You may try to make self-harm, that you may even kill yourself. Because of this, Level Δ is one of the deadliest levels in the backrooms
"Level δ"
This level can be seen as a more positive alternative to Level Δ. There is no imminent present. The only sound is your future voice, but instead of hating you, it has faith in you. It encourages you and fills you with determination. It tells you about the special rooms and entities you will encounter in the near future, motivating you. When your future self feels like your confidence has boosted, it will become satisfied and dismiss you to Level 0.
"Level 9007199254740992"
Level 9007199254740992 is very strange, it has two parts, 9007199254740992 (1), and 9007199254740992 (2). It is not quite known why Level 9007199254740992 has such a high number, but deep within Level 9007199254740992, there were carvings of this number on the ceiling. There are theorized to be many levels before this, but none are reachable by humans. Other Entities, such as Feelings, Howlers, and Crawlers can, and regularly, go here. It is speculated these levels are where the mating occurs. Being in Level 9007199254740992 for more than 2 months can get lethal, auditory hallucinations can occur, telling you to eat certain things. Visual hallucinations of yourself dying, can cause high rates of suicide, and over-eating.
Description: Level 9007199254740992 (1)
Level 9007199254740992 (1) Is a mulch floor going down at least 900 kilometers, and a tile ceiling. It is very peculiar that it holds up because there are no known walls. In 9007199254740992 (1) there are no entities whatsoever, however, there are a plethora of skeletons lying about or deep underground. It is theorized the mulch has different heights for different seasons. u/hento-mention along with a group of friends made a venture to Level 9007199254740992 and measured the ceiling to mulch level. This was 5'2". However, they went back after 3 months, and measured 8'9".
"It was like some demonic playground. My group had to take therapy after and were not anticipating doing round 2. They said they heard their loved ones screaming for help, and them telling us to eat the mulch. The higher the mulch was, the worse it all got." u/hento-menti
There are no known pictures of Level 9007199254740991 (1)
"Level @LP 5"
Most data on this Level has been lost. This is the data we could scrape together.
This Level is every single level merged into one. Because The Backrooms are infinite, the reality distortion of this amount of Levels collapsed into one at some point. It did not go well.
The Level looks mostly like Level 0, but it gets more and more distorted as you walk along. Parts of Levels start glitching in and out, and most entities here are massive, melting blobs of other entities merged together. After a while, the directions in the Level become impossible to what we call direction. It winds and winds together into one distorted, melting space and reality makes no sense anymore.
And then you get teleported to a random level, and it's all over.
People who have experienced this level have suffered symptoms of PTSD and Anxiety.
Only one person never made it out alive. The item below is a PDF file they left on one of the computers in The Backrooms before they perished.
"The Hive"
According to an anonymous user who found the level, The Hive seems like an endless maze of caverns and caves where fleshy inanimate tentacles cover the roof, floor, and walls, and the rooms are dotted with alien-looking eggs, at least 1.5 meters big that cover columns in the middle of large caverns. A pastel blue fog coats the air. The anonymous user states that it is hard to breathe in The Hive, probably due to little oxygen, and has also witnessed some eggs hatch Hounds, Crawlers, and Deathmoths that seemed to act docile for a few minutes before turning hostile.
This gives the impression that some of the entities in the Backrooms reproduce. The anonymous user has also said that there can be heard howls from all directions. He has also said that there are a lot of hostile entities in this area, including a previously undiscovered entity known as the High Queen. This makes The Hive one of the most dangerous levels discovered to date. The user who discovered the area eventually escaped a few days later, as he says, "by wandering through tunnels that seem to lead to different levels." He located found entrance to level 0, but when he walked through it, the tunnel disappeared behind him.
A theory 'making it's way around' states that the eggs may be the origin of the entities of the other levels of the Backrooms, or at least an origin point from which they exit, although this has been disproved with further testing. It is currently unknown where the entities of the other levels of the Backrooms originate from.
"The Attic"
The attic has only been accessed by u/EnamintRBLX. and 3 other people. The Attic looks like any average attic. Upon wandering 12-15 miles away from your entry point, you will encounter Smilers, Feelings, and Kytons. In order to avoid them, you must outrun them for 5 miles. They will not go past that point. After the 5 miles, you will encounter an unknown entity. Nobody really knows what it looks like, as the attic is surrounded in darkness.
Now, there is another attic, but each second there is a one in a trillion chance that you will teleport there. There are only two people who have gotten into it.
"Level π"
You have wandered and toiled throughout the bounds of reality itself. The Level only has one corridor, it is painted but the paint is old and peeling, the only light sources are naked lightbulbs mounted to the ceiling every 15 feet. It's seemingly infinite, no entities recorded. Your only hope is death. Time does not work here. You have infinite energy. Good luck. Not much is known about this Level, and it will be updated as soon as we obtain any more information on it.
"Level ?"
Level ? is a mysterious level of the Backrooms. Not much is known about it, other than the fact that nearly nothing is real in this level. It is nearly identical to Level 0, the only difference being that almost every single Entity known can be found here. Most of these entities are only illusions, with the exception of sometimes the entities native to Level 0. Not only that, but also some of the walls and doors are illusions, and you can pass through them. To enter here you need to noclip in Level 0.01 or in some of the Negative Levels, although it is currently unknown which ones. To exit, there is a rare chance one of the fake walls or doors, instead of leading to another room, will instead lead to another level, at random. You will also hear the "?" Album by XXXTENTACION in the distance.
"Level NaN"
This level appears to be an endless void sprinkled with stars and galaxies in the distance. There is only a 10x10x10 meter concrete platform below your feet, and a gate at its edge with bright light within, that disappears when you look at it from the side or over the gate. The gate doesn't appear to be openable in any way, and it is unknown what happens when you surpass it from the side or over it.
"Level ()"
Level () is a very unknown level of the Backrooms. If the power in the Backrooms goes out (a pretty frequent occasion), you have a small chance of ending up in Level (). You will know you are in the level if you hear three clicks a few seconds after the power outage. It is completely blacked out, and you can't see anything when turning on your flashlight unless it is pointed at an entity.
"Level i"
Level i is a level in between Level -0 and Level 0. It is very unique as it is made entirely of paper. Ripping the paper will result in a void appearing within, and walking in the void results in the level disappearing, and being stuck there until you die. On the walls, ceiling, and floor, there are occasional writings, usually mathematical operations, but there can also be phrases such as "YOU ARE HERE FOREVER" or "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LEAVE, FOR YOU WILL ONLY GO IN FURTHER" being the most notable ones. Staying at this level for 6 hours to 6 days results in a feeling of irrational tiredness slowly looming over you. Falling asleep will result in waking up an unknown amount of time later in Level -1, Level 8, or Level 12. There is also a very rare chance (0.66% approx. chance per mile traveled) of finding a piece of paper with "LUCKY PAPER" written on it. This is a good sign, so take it. Anyone who possesses this piece of paper has reported feeling more sane and happy and also having fewer encounters with entities. This may be a coincidence or a placebo effect, but for now not much is known
"Level i-0"
Level i-0 is the opposite of Level i. This level contains many Smilers, as this level is made of nothing but ink, wet or dry. This level also contains a special vial of mysterious white powder approximately 1-10 miles from your starting location, that when mixed with ink gained from "Ink Rains", which are fairly common events where the ceiling begins dripping ink, will make an opaque white liquid that is acidic to most entities, with notable exceptions such as Smilers.
The ink, by itself, is strangely drinkable and tastes like Almond Water except with a distant ink-like flavor as well. Sometimes it is possible to find strange handprints on the walls, which are reportedly skinny and have unnaturally long fingers. Falling on the floor results in it slowly absorbing you, like quicksand, and you will eventually end up in Level 20.
"The Revalations"
The Revelation is an unknown area of the backrooms that can be accessed from entering a black hole in Level ω.
This place has the ability to shapeshift into any area in the entire universe, through thought of the victim inside. Although this can be very dangerous as the immense power of the room can cause your brain to shut down, since it cannot comprehend the anomaly.
There is currently a theory going around that this is the end of the backrooms. If you imagine your home universe, family, and everything you ever cared about. You will find peace and exit the dimension. Although this is highly unlikely since no exit has ever been discovered, and many backrooms explorers on Reddit disagree with this.
"Deadrooms"
The Bedrooms are glitched rooms that consist of one entity that is rumored to exist inside there, deemed the "Deadworm". It is unknown that they do exist, but it has been rumored to exist. The "Deadrooms" are rooms that you can fall into, as there is no collision. One person by the name of u/korekaba took a picture of them in the Backrooms, with binary code on the ground and a Deadroom nearby. People are advised not to enter these rooms or else they'll fall through the floor and into a trap room with no way to exit. People die and starve in there, or they are killed by unknown/unconfirmed entities that can walk in there.
The Deadrooms appear in every level that isn't an open space (like a city etc.)
There is no escape. Only suffering.
"Level 9B"
level 9B is very close to level 9 in terms of looks, except that when entering any of the houses you will enter level 1. once you enter level 1 again you won't be able to exit back into level 9B. Entering 9B is simple, as you just have to walk far enough down the street in level 9. Another property of this level is that you will not remember any of the features of this level, only that you were there, and it that it was much like level 9. it was discovered by user @DarrynSomething, and is completely devoid of entities.
"The Nightmare"
The Nightmare appears to be an endless black void with no ceiling, walls, or floor. There are presumably no entities here, although you may bring in entities with your imagination. Allow this to be explained further. While it is unknown whenever the cause of this effect is from an entity or the level itself, there is an effect in The Nightmare that causes insanity to occur in as little as 5 minutes, and the effect is so severe it can even hemorrhage the brain. the most notorious thing this effect is able to do is bringing your worst nightmare to life. Usually, the effect looks for the worst most terrifying monster your mind came up with. If it can’t find one, it looks for phobias or fears instead. Whatever it chooses, they all fatal. You’re scared of a hound the most? It appears and rips you apart. You’re scared of heights? The invisible floor opens below you and you fall and impact another floor. There is nothing you can do to escape your death. The only to do so is to realize your mistake and go back through the door you entered from before 3 seconds pass.
"The Creation"
The Creation is a super special level. It relates to The Beginning, but instead of using a laptop to reprogram The Backrooms, it is literally a pocket world that you can build! No one else can access this pocket world except you unless you allow others. Think of The Creation as a game. But, if you try to build something impossible, like entities, you will either be sent to The Beginning, The Nightmare, or Level 0.
"The Dream"
It is unknown how you get here. This is an Oddball Level, not to be confused with The Nightmare. You will be in a white void, and gravity will not exist. Think of anything, like a hound. Instead of it being a beast-like creature, it will turn out to be an adorable puppy! Thinking of anything bad will take you to The Nightmare. There is no way out of here. Noclip through walls? What walls? As I said, you cannot leave a void. The only way out is to go to The Nightmare, where you also cannot leave. Thinking of freedom from The Dream will result in death.
