Object Class: Euclid Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard anomalous item safe unit in storage room 17B. The code to the safe is to be changed every time it is unlocked and documented in SCP-XXXX’s files.
Class D personnel are not allowed to come into contact with SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX has a level 3 security clearance due to its destructive potential. The only personnel allowed to interact with this object are senior researchers to perform experiments with the object. Senior researchers are only allowed to interact with SCP-XXXX if given permission by at least three site directors.
Any personnel Class C or below are to be administered amnestics if they come in contact with SCP-XXXX or read documents about SCP-XXXX. No persons with mental disabilities or any diagnosed mental illness are allowed to come into contact with SCP-XXXX. All personnel that want to come into contact with SCP-XXXX must serve 3 sessions, each lasting an hour, with a certified psychiatrist provided by the foundation and pass a mental wellness test afterwards to be approved to interact with SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an intricately designed object made out of iron and bronze. This object appears to be a brown and silver, lustrous steel human brain. SCP-XXXX is 10 centimeters in diameter and weighs 6 kilograms. SCP-XXXX gives off light that shines at approximately 100 lumens when dormant, attempts at discovering how the light is produced have come up inconclusive. The chemical composition of SCP-XXXX is primarily made up of metalloid and transition metals such as boron, beryllium, germanium, tungsten, iron, rhenium and cobalt. Testing of the object has shown that it is very durable. The object has also been shown to have a very high level of hardness, density, and electrical conductivity. SCP-XXXX can triple any aspect of reality in correlation with the intent of the person in contact with the SCP. Interaction and use of the object occurs when a person comes into contact SCP-XXXX and has a strong intent about what they desire to happen. The desire or intent is not fulfilled in most cases but it does alter reality in way to where the desire is more likely to be fulfilled. SCP-XXXX’s reality warping abilities are nearly endless, only dependent on the person that is interacting with it. SCP-XXXX lights up to approximately 150 lumens when in use and returns back to its dormant state within a few seconds afterwards.
SCP-XXXX was discovered in a meteorite near the northern coast of Alaska. The meteorite was 22 meters in diameter and estimated to be 3 metric tons. Personnel sent to test materials of the meteorite described a throbbing cluster headache which caused personnel to have difficulty standing and probing the meteorite. Personnel were given 1,000 mg of ibuprofen and sent back to the crash site. SCP-XXXX was found in the core of the meteorite after drilling 11 meters into its surface. SCP-XXXX was surrounded by molten iron and was measured at 500 degrees celcius. The object exhibited a rapid cool down when extracted from the core. SCP-XXXX was shining at approximately 1,000 lumens. Personnel were required to wear welding goggles at the crash site. SCP-XXXX seemed to cause excessive intrusive thoughts in personnel handling it, ranging from thoughts about self-harm to homicidal thoughts. These anomalous effects ended after 48 hours of being in containment. It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX formed its shape.
SCP-XXXX is still undergoing investigation to determine if it should be used by the foundation to help better contain SCPS. The way this SCP increases or decreases an aspect of reality by 300% if it has no perceived numerical value (such as making an object better or more refined for example) is unknown. The process of changing an object appears to use no energy or entropy, similar to SCP-914. The only object that is not affected by the user's intent is the SCP itself. Attempts at replicating the amount of this SCP or changing its properties by 3 times increases SCP-XXXX's surface temperature to over 200 degrees celcius. It stays at this temperature for approximately ~4 hours and causes an explosion similar to a concussion grenade when transitioning back to its dormant state.
SCP-XXXX was used in a medical emergency when [DATA EXPUNGED] was exhibiting symptoms of a stroke. Without knowing where the blood clot was occuring, Dr ███ gave the intent to make the blood clot causing the stroke 300% smaller. Within minutes, [DATA EXPUNGED] appeared to recover with no side effects or brain damage.

• Increased the strength of a Class D Personnel by 300%. Previous maximum bench press: 32 kg, new maximum bench press measured at 96 kg. The Class D Personnel experienced no pain during or after the transition and recorded that he felt no different than before testing.

• Reduced the cost of items by 300%. The price tag of [REDACTED] remained unchanged but when the item was scanned. The price of the item was exactly 300% lower at $3.38.

• Increased the mass of various items (pens, wood, steel, etc.) by 300%. Previous mass of pen was 3 grams, the current mass of the pen is 9 grams. Previous mass of a block of wood was 2.2 kg, the current mass of the block of wood is 6.6 kg. Previous mass of a sheet of steel was 24 kg, current mass of sheet of steel is 72 kg.

• Increased the eyesight of certain personnel by 300%. Dr. ███ previous eyesight was measured at 5/20, current eyesight of Dr. ███ is measured at 15/20.

• Increased the durability of certain items by 300%. The previous hardness of the rock in this experiment on the Mohs Scale was measured at 4, current hardness of rock exceeds the maximum of the Mohs Scale and is capable of scratching diamond.

• Increased the probability of winning a scratch off lottery ticket by 300%. The previous frequency of winning any cash amount from a standard $1 scratch off lottery ticket was recorded at 1 in 9 instances. Current frequency of winning cash from a standard $1 scratch off lottery ticket is now recorded at approximately 1 in 3 instances.

• Increased the growth rate of plants by 300%. The recorded speed of a Helianthus (sunflower) plant fully maturing was 93 days. We planted another seed of a Helianthus (sunflower) and recorded full maturity at 31 days.

• Decreased the calories of food items by 300%. Testing of a chocolate glazed donut from the break room shows that it had 120 calories. After using SCP-XXXX, testing of the chocolate glazed donut shows that it has 40 calories. Personnel described the donut as tasting the same.

• Increased the height and weight of a Class D personnel by 300%. [DATA EXPUNGED] Subject was terminated after causing the deaths of 3 security officers.

• Increased fuel efficiency in Dr. ███'s car by 300%. Previous gas mileage was recorded at 22 miles to the gallon. Current gas mileage is now 66 miles to the gallon.

• Increased the effectiveness of solar panels by 300%. Solar panel used by the foundation measured 1.52 m by 0.76 m. On a clear day with minimal clouds, the solar panel produced around 2,000 watts. After use of SCP-XXXX, the solar panel produced around 6,000 watts on a day very similar to the day previously.

• Increased perceived attractiveness of Class D personnel by 300%. Class D Personnel is a Caucasian male with a medium build weighing 77 kg and 1.77 meters in height. Female personnel described his attractiveness as average. After use of SCP-XXXX, female personnel described him as irresistible and were harassing Class D personnel for sexual favors, Class D personnel was quarantined from female interaction until this effect could be reversed. Similar to other Class D personnel experimented on using SCP-XXXX, he reported feeling no different than before use of SCP-XXXX.

• Decreased fear of particular things in Class D personnel by 300%. Class D personnel had a irrational fear of spiders. Exposure of anything spider related causes the Class D personnel to have a severe anxiety attack. After use of SCP-XXXX, Class D personnel was shown a picture of a spider. Class D personnel still reported light amounts of fear but remained calm and was able to look at the picture of the spider for extended periods of times. (Note: This could be used to suppress SCP-096's fears of being seen by other people.)

• Increased the time between a personnel blinking in SCP-173's containment cell. Personnel who entered SCP-173's containment cell blinked on average once every 53 seconds. After use of SCP-XXXX, personnel were able to stare at SCP-173 for more than 2 minutes and 33 seconds. (Note: SCP-XXXX appears to be able to isolate it's reality altering abilities in one area. Further experimentation needs to be done to see if SCP-XXXX can isolate it's abilities at certain times.)

• Increased the levels of happiness in Class D Personnel between the times of 6:59 - 7:00 pm. Class D personnel were prepared in MRIs beforehand to measure brain activity. Class D Personnel were shown to have increased blood flow to the ventral striatum and nucleus accumbens. Class D Personnel described mild feelings of happiness at this time.
