Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within the "Red Eye" exhibit at the Mckinley's House for the Mysterious (Now Site 310) in Torrington, CT and is not to be moved except for testing purposes. A 9 m -11 m mirror is to be placed opposite of the "Red Eye" exhibit window for viewing purposes. At no point should SCP-XXXX be viewed a mirror (including photographs, video, art or any other form of media) unless for testing purposes. In order to deny entry to the general public and avoid suspicion a portion of Site 310 shall be run as a museum for people wishing to see the Mckinley's House for the Mysterious. Exhibits and other museum operations will be handled by third party staff and overseen by the Site Director.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a biological red ovoid with brown spikes with the appearance of a severed eye with both a nerve ending on the back of the object and brown spikes covering what is theorized to be an eye lid. SCP-XXXX possesses a cogneto hazard which causes individuals who view the brown hairs to become instantly blind. The objects cogneto hazard is also present when viewed in any visual media. Mirrors are a safe way to view SCP-XXXX. anything which blurs vision or perception general can act as a form of protection but is however not foolproof.
