Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is unable to be contained due to the massive surface area of it. While it runs underground, many Foundation Personnel have attempted to build a dam, however many solid objects frequently crash into the dam, often causing indentations and damage. Though the citizens know of SCP-XXXX, they are unaware of the potential risk and danger SCP-XXXX could pose to the environment and urban areas.
If any civilian becomes a victim of SCP-XXXX's effects, they must be immediately rushed into a Site so that they can be administered the treatment to SCP-XXXX. The effects of SCP-XXXX vary on exposure to the water, it differentiates between multiple 'stages';
These symptoms occur during Stage 1:
Rough skin,
Slurred speaking,
Dizziness,
Severe nausea,
Skin irritation,
Bleeding gums,
And 'shedding' of skin.
During Stage 2, it becomes more obvious and it is mandatory that treatment must be applied at this point, if anyone is unable to do so then this would cause a fatal tipping point for the victim.
Bleeding skin,
Weak skeletal structure,
Cramping muscles,
Difficulty breathing,
Partial blindness,
Severe slowness of movement and actions,
And a weak immunity system.
Stage 3 is severely lethal and will cause death.
Brain decay,
Bones breaking due to unknown pressure,
Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a stream of water which flows beyond the outskirts of Eastern Russia. Upon further examination of the water contained within SCP-XXXX, it has minor traces of human and animal blood - experts suggest that creatures have died near the river and their insides and blood have seeped into the river which gives it a dark, red colour to it.
Opposing recent theories to the liquid within the river, many residents in the vicinity of SCP-XXXX believe that the substance inside of it is drinkable. This is proven wrong by many and at major supported by minor scales.
