So, I’ve been studying 5170 and other anomalies like it for around 27 years now, and what I’ve found might be classified as a QK-Class End of the World Scenario. To make things short, the end of the world is coming and we can’t do anything to stop it.
What is happening is that around every 11 years, the Earth loses a tiny bit of its gravitational pull, but only on certain objects, like 5170 here. The whole thing about 5170 having the name ‘Timothy’ written on it leads people to believe that it is supernatural ghosts and stuff like that to hide them from the truth. Can’t have people knowing that they can’t even trust the ground they're walking on. Back to the point, I estimated that by the year 2873, most of Earth’s gravity will be gone. Currently there are around 18,740 objects affected by this gravity crisis I’ve deemed SCP-5170-EVENT-B.
Though, it is technically a crisis per say, it has allowed me and my team of researchers to discover things we wouldn’t have been able to before, also we could just move to Mars, it seems better there than here!
The following was a test done by the SCP-5170-EVENT-B Research Team:
Date: October 31st, 1976
Subject: SCP-5170 (Red Rubber Bouncy Ball)
Procedure: Bouncing SCP-5170 in an enclosed room.
Results: SCP-5170 acts like a normal bouncy ball but with no gravity.
Analysis: SCP-5170-EVENT-B only affects the gravity of an object.

There are over 36,000 objects affected by SCP-5170-EVENT-B as of 2020. All efforts to stop SCP-5170-EVENT-B have failed. Plans to eject all known sources of SCP-5170-EVENT-B into space have been considered, but the final decision is pending. The SCP-5170-EVENT-B Research Team has concluded that the current estimated date of Earth’s complete gravitational disintegration (as it is now called) is September 7th, 2481.
