Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained through a 150,000 Hz. sound wave, broadcast in a circle from the Northern Mariana Islands to the Hawaiian Islands, a 6,219 km diameter of distance, as this prevents an instance of SCP-XXXX-1, as well as keeping it within the defined region, due to the damage the frequency causes to its hearing. Attempts to shorten this distance should not be considered.
All boats coming through the area should be redirected. Any civilians that happen to see the abilities of SCP-XXXX, or the subject itself, are to be given Class C amnestics.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid female of evident Greek descent, with a similar appearance to a woman of 23 years, at a height of 30.5 meters. Markings of an unknown dialect are spread across its arms.
SCP-XXX appears to have the ability to manipulate water with a salinity of at least 3.5%. Due to the nature of this ability, the majority of water that it is able to manipulate is ocean water. Additionally, SCP-XXXX also has the ability to control aquatic life within an unknown range. It can extend its consciousness across controlled marine organisms, an instance of SCP-XXXX-1.
The subject has demonstrated the ability to speak a language that all humans are able to understand, regardless of their original tongue.
Based on recovered journals from explorers of the early 1400s, it can be concluded that SCP-XXXX has existed for at least 600 years.
SCP-XXXX has noted to be hostile to any boat that comes within ███ kilometers of the anomaly. Hostile measures largely involve manipulating the ocean water to pull and drown the ship, along with any of its passengers.
Discovery:
Note: Below is an audio log of the discovery of SCP-XXXX. MTF Gamma-8 "The Manta Rays", led by MTF G-8 Triton, was assigned to confirm the existence of the anomaly, along with any other appropriate observations. This team specializes in dives for the observation of aquatic anomalies.
Dive team consists of 4 members. Each member was given specialized scuba gear, and a tank of compressed breathable air, that can last for up to 5 hours at the confirmed diving depth limit of ███ meters.

[BEGIN LOG]
Triton: Triton to Command: requesting status on diving go/no-go.
Command: Diving is a go. Suspected anomaly should be located 50 meters down from your current height.
Triton: Confirmed. Brizo, check our gas tanks for proper pressure.
A 30 second silence follows, along with the sounds of moving machinery.
Brizo: Tanks are fueled and ready to go.
Achelous: Alright, then. Let's go, Mantas.
The team dives into the water, revealing a clear ocean with virtually no darkness.
Ceto: The water looks pretty clear. Guess we won't be needing the lights as much.
Command: Have you found any signs of an the object?
Triton: Triton to Command: Nothing found yet, but it is alarmingly quiet.
Command: Acknowledged. Continue forward. Our scanners indicate that the anomaly should be in your sights.
Triton: Triton to Command, we see the anomalous entity. An extremely tall woman. Mantas, approach with caution.
Brizo: I-Is anyone else finding it hard to swim?
Brizo is observed to be swimming with a much more aggressive effort to reach the speed of the rest of the team. Approximately 15 seconds later, Achelous begins to have difficulty as well.
Command: Triton, your team is in danger. New information has been received from O5 command. The anomaly is hydrokinetic in nature. Get out immediately. Return to the boat.
SCP-XXXX is observed turning to the team from roughly 15 meters away. The markings on its arms begin to glow with a light blue color.
SCP-XXXX: Begone.
The anomaly stretches out its hand, and the water surrounding the team begins to ripple in a strange manner.
Ceto: It sees us! Ceto to Command, we are unable to move, requesting support!
Brizo: I can't move a muscle! Fuck, we're d-
Brizo is suddenly flung into a direction by an unknown force, and slams into a rocky precipice. The camera on Brizo's suit is seemingly destroyed.
Achelous: Briz is dead! We need to-
The remaining begins to scream with panic, as the camera shows SCP-XXXX slowly moving out of view. The angle of movement implies that the water is pulling them.
Triton: Fuck fuck, I can't break free of the current-
Video cuts out, however the audio picks up the sound of wind howling, and one individual screaming, for 15 seconds, before cutting out as well.
[END LOG]
FINAL NOTES: MTF Gamma-8 was launched approximately 150 meters from the ocean. Triton, Achelous, and Brizo were killed from the resulting landing. Ceto survived the landing and suffered heavy injuries, and is currently undergoing rehabilitation, as of the date of this discovery.
Addendum XXXX-A: Researchers David Fulotz and Sarah Lowele, upon observing archived texts of Pacific origin, located and documented excerpts from ancient journals from several different time frames, seemingly describing SCP-XXXX in some fashion.

TITLE: My Life's Journey
AUTHOR: Zheng He
NOTE: Due to the extremely old age of the Chinese language the book was written in, few phrases could actually be translated to a recognizable modern language.
…And so, my men were relieved and joyous to finally see land up ahead, and within this, the city of Kochi, where we planned to stop for the next two weeks. My assistant and I had measured the distance to be fourteen and hundred chi1…On our way to a night of rest, we encountered a fierce storm, with waves that rocked the very hull of our ship. I ordered all of those who were not immediately needed to go inside the ship. Our crew fought the winds, but the mighty junk2 could not hold back a storm of the gods. The deck split open, along with the entirety of our vessel. We plunged into the frigid water beneath…I saw my men, the dear friends I made over the months, sinking slowly into the waters…But then, as I closed my eyes and decided to give in to the afterlife, I saw something. A woman. A massive woman who towered in the ocean like a goddess among men. Her eyes were of perfect porcelain. She began to swim past me, without having to even kick her feet. Was this a mirage? However, soon, I felt myself moving, along with my crew. The water was…carrying us. When I woke up, I was laying on the beaches of Kochi. My crew of 40 laid neatly on the beach as well, not a single one missing. My crew maintains the idea that we were washed up from the tide, and what I saw was a hallucination from drowning. And I have resigned to believe the same, as I never saw such a sight again.

I never thought that I would live to tell this story. I never thought that I would survive the heavy floods and the rushing water. But most of all, I will never forget the day, in which I observed the damage afterwards. After the waves receded, many members of my city returned, hoping to find some shred of our homes. Many of us were disappointed. I found my home not long after; Strangely enough, with a submarine smashed into the roof. How could such a thing get there? Another one of my neighbors told me that a cargo boat was crushed in half, in the middle of his backyard. As I decided to go the beach that I called my home for 15 years, it only made me feel worse. The sands were littered with debris. The next sight would haunt me to this day. Standing on the ocean, there stood a woman o-
