Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be kept in a titanium Barrel inside a Steel Safe.
Safe is to be protected by no fewer than two (2) trained guard-dogs at all times. Dogs are to be feed twice daily and rotated between five (5) groups every three (3) days.
All testing is to be approved by Professor Reasons.
All Staff (D-Class only) are to wear Hazmat Suits for the duration of the experiment, unless the subject of the experiment.
Description: SCP-X is a reddish-brown liquid chemical with properties similar to Whale blood.
If the Substance comes into contact with a sapient creature (now referred to as SCP-X-A), it causes their sensory Organs to melt, their Brains to be reduced to non-sentience, and occasionally, seemingly random mutations to occur. Instances of SCP-X-A are highly hostile to all sapient life and do not appear to decompose after expiring. A Cure has yet to be found. No link between the circumstances of SCP-X being administrated and the nature of the mutations could be confirmed.
SCP-X has spontaneously appeared in containment on ██/██/20██ with a Note on the Barrel reading "These are my Fathers, the Scarlet Kings, Tears. I thought you might want a sample. Don't worry about running out on accident, the barrel is indestructible and the Tears will never empty! sincerely, The First Born :)"
All information on the Note, that could be confirmed, are correct.

Experiment X-e-1
Name: Professor ███████ Reasons with Agent Usui Nelson Owen and Dr. Linda Stone assisting.
Date: ██/██/20██
Procedure: A Lab-Rat (Rattus norvegicus) is exposed to SCP-X.
Results: None.
Note: Similar Experiments where performed, but redacted for brevity. Results suggest that lower levels of sentience are immune.
Experiment X-e-2
Name: Professor Reasons with Agent U.N.Owen and Dr. Stone assisting.
Date: ██/██/20██
Procedure: D-Class is told to ingest a sample of SCP-X.
Results: D-Class Grew by roughly two (2) meters and grew a white set of horns resembling a crown along with a "cloak" of black tissue that seemed to absorb all light around it.
Notes: SCP-X-A developed two white spots where its eyes used to be and proceeded to stare at Dr. Stone until termination.
Experiment X-e-3

Procedure: D-Class is submerged into a large amount of SCP-X/water mixture.
Results: D-Class body produced digestive enzymes and cannibalized itself from the waist down.
SCP-X-A grew to account for missing mass and started crawling in a circle. Gunfire proved ineffective for termination, only causing SCP-X-A to leak a brown liquid. SCP-X-A was finally terminated by explosive rounds.
Notes: A test on the brown liquid resulted in the discovery of Orcinus Orca (Killer Whale) DNA. The liquid is likely a "lesser" version of SCP-X, which is incapable of infecting people. The liquid was used to reverse-engineer an experimental antidote to SCP-X, from here on revered to as SCP-X-B

Date: ██/██/20██
Procedure: A sample of SCP-X is injected into a D-Class' bloodstream with a needle.
Results: Subject transformed into a lifeform resembling living weapon used by the Sarkic cults before disappearing.
Notes: ██ Janitorial Staff spontaneously imploded upon inspecting the area. Room was flooded with nerve gas to ensure the termination of SCP-X-A instance.
Experiment X-e-5
Name: Professor Reasons with Agent U.N.Owen and Dr. Stone assisting.
Date: ██/██/20██
Procedure: D-Class is exposed to SCP-X through a sprinkler.
Results: D-Class experiences mutations causing irregular growth, on top of above-described effects. SCP-X-A is heard muttering the Phrase "I have to escape." before breaking out of the testing Chamber and being terminated by gunfire.
Note: A dissection of SCP-X-A revealed another mutation, causing all its tissue to be replaced with skin.

Notes: Due to accidental exposure of Prof. Reasons to the Substance, testing has been terminated. Prof. Reasons has since recovered thanks to exposure to SCP-999 and SCP-X-B, it is to be noted that this procedure is unlikely to be reliably repeatable, so it will not be seen as a cure. Prof. Reasons will still display signs of depression and psychosis, in the event of a fallback, he's to be transferred to the psychiatric ward and interviewed on any hallucinations he had.

Prof. Reasons: That's nice to hear. Anyway, I was exposed to this entity, a humanoid wearing a black business suit and sunglasses… and this smile, there was more malice in his smile alone than any living being should be capable of. He was the Scarlet Kings firstborn. I don't know if he created the Tears or the King did or whoever, but we need to stop testing it! What if it gets into the wrong hands? What if it gets in contact with a powerful Skip? What if it already did…
