Special Containment Procedures : SCP-1955 is to be kept in a 3cm thick lead-lined standard containment cell, with a drainage system built into the floor, and direct illumination of the entire cell by standard LED lamps, except for one hour before and after midnight on the Winter Solstice of wherever SCP-955 is being stored (see adendum 1955-2). Staff personel with Level 2 clearance or higher may interact with SCP-1955, except on a new moon or the Winter Solstice. Researchers with Level 3 clearence or higher may remove SCP-1955 for experimentation, but must be accompanied by at least one armed guard, and must keep a flashlight or other source of portable illumination on hand. All personel attempting to handle SCP-1955 must be instructed to wear Dr L█████ may interact with the object as he sees fit, as long as it is for the purpose of harnessing energy from it.
