Special Containment Procedures: Knowledge regarding SCP-XXXX is to be strictly regulated, for mentioning of any of the five materials needed can lead one to surmise how to build an instance of SCP-XXXX.
An algorithm searching for the keywords is to be ran every minute identifying any IP Address belonging to a device with a document containing at least four of the aforementioned keywords:

• DIY
• Easy
• Cheap
• Microwave
• Cutlery
• Whisk
• Blender
• [data_redacted]
• Teleportation.

Upon discovery [worm] automatically deploys targeting the identified files, deleting the copies. The algorithm also identifies whether the file has previously been opened. In case the algorithm indicates the file has been opened it is to be considered a data breach and the appropriate steps are to be taken (see procedure in case of a data containment breach).

Note: The use of the algorithm is far from perfect as it doesn't access every system and every sharing network. Agents are pressed to keep an eye out for anything indicating an instance of SCP-XXXX has been created.

Signs to look out for:

• Reports of missing people coupled with reports of spherical holes appearing.

• Avid D.I.Y. enthusiasts that break from their usual log in habits and go missing for over a day.

Any of these signs should be seen as a data breach and the appropriate steps are to be taken.

Procedure in case of a data containment breach

• Locate the suspect linked to the breach.
• Identify the social circles linked to the suspect, primary, secondary and tertiary.
• Administer Class B amnestics to all identified targets.
• Search all devices for instructions to build SCP-XXXX hereafter refered to as SCP-XXXX-I, when located copy it on the assigned external hard-drive. After the external hard-drives are removed, the agents are to run a modem with the worm installed. Said modem will cycle through all known networks in order to delete every local instance of SCP-XXXX-I.
• Locate any instances of SCP-XXXX, they are to be placed within a case and sent to the nearest Foundation base to be forwarded to Site 306.
• When the task is completed agents are to self administer Class A or B amnestics or in the event the procedure has taken longer than 72 hours they are to apply for Class C amnestics.

Exceptions
Dr.[Supervisor] is to be exempt of the mandatory prescribed amnestics, and has the clearance to temporarily lift the rule for other personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the anomalous result of combining a microwave, a fork, two knives,
a whisk, a blender, ██████████████ and a spoon. This results in a device capable of transplacing a sphere with a diameter of between 80 and 90cm matter to a random location. The chance combination of the items results in an instance of SCP-XXXX increases if the builder is aware of SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-I

Preliminary Test-01

Personnel involved:

• Supervising Researcher: Dr.[Supervisor]
• Researcher: Dr.██████

Procedure: The test will be following the instructions as listed on the most common iteration of SCP-XXXX-I

Results: Instructions were followed "To the dot" according to Dr.[Supervisor] right up until Dr.██████ made an unexpected error resulting in the loss of Dr.██████ and presumably subject D-44533 and the number of known unaccounted for instances of SCP-XXXX now numbering 32.

Analysis: Foundation Researchers are to keep a minimum distance of 2 meters from the subject. A solution for the collateral damage to material is being sought as well as a way to recover the instance of SCP-XXXX after testing. Dr.[Supervisor] also expressed concern over how quickly D-44533 was able to identify the parts used in the construction of the device, as the subject even made offhand remarks about how he would construct something similar, matching the instructions found in SCP-XXXX-I. He advised covering the device in future experiments.

A new instance of SCP-XXXX was built to resume testing. Investigations into Dr.██████ are ongoing.

Preliminary Test-02

Personnel involved:

• Supervising Researcher: Dr.[Supervisor]
• Researcher: Dr.[First]
• D-Class: Subject D-44542

Procedure: The test will be following the instructions as listed in the most common iteration of SCP-XXXX with Dr.[First] keeping at least 2 meters of distance from D-44533. The device is covered by a backpack, which additionally hides a timed detonation device meant to destroy the device set for 8 minutes (or if the backpack is improperly opened) to be deactivated on subjects safe return. Until we find a way to automatically return the device this will be the required procedure to prevent any losses.

Results: Subject D-44542 managed to return within 4 minutes, said that returning involved going through the procedure in reverse. The backup was deactivated within time allowing the subject to report on the test. ( See Test-02-Interview).

Analysis: Subject D-44542 's insight into how the process could be reversed was enlightening as well as unexpected. Dr.[Supervisor] again expressed some worry over some off-hand remarks the subject was making. The decision was made to hold off on administering amnestics to the subjects in order to test prolonged innovation.
