Description

SCP-ASDF

SCP-ASDF appears to be a post ALARP model of Positron emitter detector, commonly used for radio medicine in the early 1950's. however, it appears that, through unknown means, this model has been outfitted to emit ████████████████████████████████ effectively anchoring the naturally occurring quantum vibrations from the sub-cellular micro-tubules of the subject into this current level of reality. all subjects who have undergone this process seem to behave normally, and function normally. However the subject becomes several times more susceptible cognitohazards. After close examination by Senior Researcher Jacob Currie, it was concluded that subjects were effectively "remotely controlled walking corpses" their actions linked through the physicality of their bodies having no presence of that which would indicate higher brain function, having them outsourced to SCP-ASDF. All subjects who undergo any procedure involving SCP-ASDF are to be designated instances of SCP-ASDF-1. The true nature of SCP-ASDF was not discovered until incident ASDF-β, which was likened to "an anchor" by Dr. John Rolfe during his rather reckless entry and subsequent manipulation of an active quantum field manipulating device.

• one, worn 1000 page assembly manual.
• one, worn 1000 page operations manual.
• one, 'birthday card' featuring a qr code.
• One business card for a "CCCXLIII .INC" "chi-chi-chi-se-li pronounced in Latin"
• One manifest showing a list of bidders with the winner being CCCXLIII .INC with a price of 3,160,000USD.

SUBJECT: One instance of SCP-ASDF-1
PROCEDURE: Exposure of one instance transferred to SCP-1437 for testing.
TEST RESULT: subject physically unable to perceive the presence of SCP-1437, when instructed to step into SCP-1437, the appearance of SCP-1437 reverted to that of a 1 ft deep hole.
ANALYSIS: perception seems to lead to the lack of ability to interact with, and temporarily suppress the effects of dimensional faults.

Test 3
SUBJECT: One instance of SCP-ASDF-1.
PROCEDURE: Subject assigned to janitorial staff of SCP-2662 for the average duration of infection
TEST RESULT: After only a third of the average time, subject began to show religious tendencies towards SCP-2662. and after only on ████ later the subject had stripped before SCP-2662 and began ████████████ using the handle of the mop to █████████ his ████. SCP-2662 locked itself in the restroom for the duration.

Test 4
SUBJECT: One instance of SCP-ASDF-1, approval of 05 counsel.
PROCEDURE: Subject instructed to attempt to enter SCP-354
TEST RESULT: SCP-354 hardened beneath the subject upon physical contact allowing the subject to walk across SCP-354 as if it were a frozen lake.
ANALYSIS:Possible continent method? SCP-354 dismembered the subject and the dismembered pieces sat on the surface, however, this test seemed to trigger an active state.

history

On June 22, 20██ SCP-ASDF appeared in the low-risk safe-class reception bay of site-██. CCTV footage shows that SCP-ASDF was, in fact, not loaded when safe class transport# ███-████-███ left site-██. This can only mean that ACP-asdf was somehow loaded onto the transport truck while moving, seeing as how transport# ███-████-███ was designated as a "Non-Stop" transport between sites.

The shipment was offloaded as per standard procedure scanning for various hazards with generalist agents and on-site containment teams inspecting pallets and boxed as they were offloaded. however, once SCP-ASDF was offloaded from the transport, radiation was detected from the boxes containing the disassembled SCP-ASDF. The room was evacuated. following this, a has-mat and an I.E.D team was called in to investigate the unknown packages. After a meticulous investigation the source of the radiation was . poorly sealed lead lined container containing the radioactive materials used in the operation of SCP-ASDF. Speculated to be intentional due to scoring on the lead container's hermetic seal.

Upon inspection by the bomb team the container leaking non-hazardous levels of radiation, found with this particular container were all three instances of SCP-ASDF-2

+ Incident SCP-SADF-α

on august 17th, D-████, a newly acquired D-class was exposed to SCP-093 following a previously thought unsuccessful test with SCP-ASDF. on site researchers were baffled after noting that D-████ did not illicit a color change response from SCP-093. A quick look at D-████'s file revealed that they had only had been subject to one other test: SCP-ASDF.

Dr. Rolfe: Its an Anchor, A dimensional anchor!

Addendum

1)These pages seem to indicate that both the creators, as well as the those who planted SCP-ASDF onto the transport were none other than GOI Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd. this type of behavior is out of character for this GOI. It is best to assume that if they attempt to aid the foundation in any way that this aid will either come at a hefty price, one yet undisclosed.

2)Furthermore, SCP-ASDF could easily be adapted to do create a dimensional "Net" that could be used to forcibly manifest higher-dimensional entities. reproduction of the Thoriated ████████████████████████ Generators has been successful. requesting reclassification of SCP-ASDF to Thaumiel class to allow for mass production of ASDF-"Nets" to allow for containment of reality bending entities (see SCP-093) and possible deterrence otherwise.
