Description: SCP-XXXX is a large three (3) story house located on ■■ ■■■■■■ Lane in ■■■■■■■■■■■■, Seattle. It has white paneling and bright red roof, and appears to be built in the early 1860’s. The interior is relatively furnished and consists of four (4) bedrooms, three (3) bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, two (2) offices, and two (2) undesignated rooms. It is occupied by a family of four (4), who are [DATA EXPUNGED]. The Foundation received word of SCP-XXXX on ■■ / ■■ / 19■■ when routine surveillance of the area around ■■■■■■ ■■■■■ happened upon an annual haunted house hosted in SCP-XXXX. Agent ■■■■■■ noticed the red roof and reportedly felt a strange attraction to the building. Upon entering, [DATA EXPUNGED]

On the second floor of the house, the first door to the left, designated as SCP-XXXX-1, has a distinct difference from every other room in SCP-XXXX. The wallpaper comes from no discernible time period, and dating tests yield no results. It appears to change visually from subject to subject, taking on an appearance that produces a memetic effect that entices an individual to enter. The most common appearance is ornate flowers. When present within SCP-XXXX-1 for 5 uninterrupted minutes, subjects have reported feeling slightly uneasy and nauseous. All subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-1’s anomalous properties for more than 15 uninterrupted minutes have displayed clear physical disorientation and their skin begins to permanently lose melanin. Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 for more than 30 uninterrupted minutes rapidly lose melanin and have reported feeling incredibly cold, despite the room being held at a constant 21 degrees Celsius. Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-2 for more than 45 minutes are [DATA EXPUNGED]. The family occupying the house seem to experience no adverse effects when present within SCP-XXXX-1.

Look, they have to be classified as SCPs. The fact that they still exist in the same house as that damn thing is absolutely bewildering. Yes, I know that XXXX-2 doesn't exactly ignore them, but just take a look at Dr. ■■■■■■■■ and you'll fucking understand.
