Item #: SCP-???

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-??? is to be contained in a cell without any windows or cavities. The cell door, which must also not contain any sort of opening, must remain closed whenever it is not in use. When interacting with SCP-???, one must take care not to make sudden movements, loud noises, or otherwise attempt to provoke SCP-???. Once a week, SCP-??? must be provided five pounds of food.

Description: SCP-??? is an amorphous mass of a black non-Newtonian fluid, with two luminescent white orbs that rest within it. These orbs can resemble eyes for SCP-??? depending on their position within its substance, but their actual function are unknown as SCP-??? can be fully aware of its whole surroundings at any given point.

Being a fluid, SCP-??? has the ability to travel through cracks and holes in solids. However, it does not seem capable of traveling through any hole smaller than that present in a standard fishing net.

SCP-??? has demonstrated the ability to form itself into fairly complex shapes. SCP-??? may produce independent masses from the black substance that composes its own body, classified as SCP-???-1. Instances of SCP-???-1 vary in size and act independently from SCP-???, but they do share some sort of non-physical link with one another. Instances of SCP-???-1 have never been observed to contain one or both of the luminescent orbs present on SCP-???.

SCP-??? is normally docile, but can become fairly aggressive when provoked. When angered, it or any instance of SCP-???-1 may attempt to latch onto the provoker. If it does so, it will then begin consuming the area of the provoker it is in contact with.
