Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is monitored by camera placement around the area. If any instance of SCP-XXXX-B is recorded outside of SCP-XXXX-A, it must be terminated on sight. SCP-XXXX is surrounded with a metal fence to prevent any unauthorized entry from any civilian or personnel below Level 3.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an area of land located in ████████, Greenland. SCP-XXXX is in the shape of a hexagon, measuring approximately 2.6 mi². All physical objects within SCP-XXXX have no color, and any objects place inside lose all colors as well, the anomalous effect disappearing after the object's removal from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-A is a small black lake in the center of SCP-XXXX, its exact shape changes daily, the ground morphing around it, although it maintains a mostly circular shape. The liquid in SCP-XXXX-A is not water, but rather a substance very similar to the appearance of ferrofluid. SCP-XXXX-A will almost always remain at the center of SCP-XXXX, unless a foreign object is placed inside the hexagon, enabling SCP-XXXX-A into an "active" state, causing it to move as far away from the object as possible, however never leaving SCP-XXXX and being unable to move past the hexagonal sides. This behavior continues until the object leaves SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-A then slowly returning to the center of SCP-XXXX. The reason behind this behavior is currently unknown, but tests have shown that if a foreign object makes physical contact with SCP-XXXX-A, it will continue to have the anomalous effect inflicted by SCP-XXXX even after leaving the designated area. all physical contact between foreign objects and SCP-XXXX-A is strictly prohibited, due to the "grayscale effect" spreading upon contact with unaffected objects. The "grayscale effect", if given by SCP-XXXX-A, will permanently preserve organisms in the state they were in when they had initial contact with SCP-XXXX-A, preventing them from aging or being infected by common illnesses. Contact between organisms and SCP-XXXX-A causes the substance to vibrate at a high frequency similar to a human shriek of pain.
