Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4173 is to have one person
monitor it at all times for changes in behavior from the subjects in SCP-4173.
A fence of 3 meters in height is to surround the perimeter. Any instance of SCP-4173-A
caught trying to hop the fence is to be shot on sight. Expeditions of SCP-4173 are to be
permitted by staff of Level 3 clearance or higher.

Description: SCP-4173 is an area of trenches from World War 1 in
██████, Germany. The trenches have been reported to change shape and direction frequently, meaning monitoring the area is difficult. Expeditions have been carried out successfully. (See Addendum 4173-B) by
trenches are present in the area, Trench A, B, C, and D. The inhabitants of SCP-4173 are known
as SCP-4173-A. SCP-4173-A are soldiers of various age, ethnicity, and height. SCP-4173-A instances are transparent, and attempts to touch instances of SCP-4173-A is impossible. Subjects can be shot, however. Subjects are able to speak, even though they have no vocal cords. Subjects are also able to eat, yet have no stomach. Hostile instances of SCP-4173-A are rare, and are normally terminated if behavior is questionable.
