Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All testing of SCP-XXXX-A is discontinued. Both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are sealed with concrete, which is to be checked for any signs of damage. Any damage is to be reported so that repairs can begin. Any noise originating from SCP-XXXX-B is to reported to the Site Director.
Should personnel develop a desire to enter SCP-XXXX-A they are to report to the Site Director for Class-1 amnestics and reassigned. A
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a man-made tunnel entrance located in [DATA EXPUNGED], believed to be roughly one hundred thousand years old. Its construction is noted to be surprisingly advanced, however, as it stands roughly eight feet in height and measures six feet across. SCP-XXXX-B is the exit of the tunnel, discovered only recently but of the same age. Classification occurred after SCP-XXXX-B's discovery, due to all previous reports and survey of the area indicating there were no tunnels until SCP-XXXX-B's manifestation.
Several individuals who encounter SCP-XXXX-A have expressed a desire to enter it, and when questioned have stated that SCP-XXXX-A 'calls' to them. Use of amnestics has proven effective in countering this. This cognitohazard does not extend to SCP-XXXX-B. However, personnel instructed to enter SCP-XXXX-B have all refused, giving a statement to the effect of 'this is an exit, not the entry.'
SCP-XXXX-A was first discovered in ████ after two hikers went missing. A search was conducted by local law enforcement and volunteers. Though neither were found, evidence indicated that they had entered SCP-XXXX-A. Once SCP-XXXX-A's anomalous properties were discovered, the Foundation stepped in and initiated containment.
After SCP-XXXX-B's discovery, long-range microphones received audio feedback determined to be organic in nature. A drone was deployed to investigate, as no personnel would enter SCP-XXXX-B. After roughly three months, during which contact was not lost despite the drone exceeding its range, the drone became inoperative. Its last transmission was a photo determined to be [DATA EXPUNGED]. Current containment protocols were implemented immediately upon this discovery.
