Description:

SCP-XXXX appears to be a standard audio compact disc (CD) with a capacity of 700 MiB. It contains one instrumental song allegedly recorded by the popular band █████ ███.

The CD contains one static-ridden, fuzzy instrumental song.
A non-anomalous copy of the song can be listened here: …

Attempts to download and/or copy the contents of SCP-XXXX have resulted in the melting of the CPU of the computer on which the procedure has been attempted on. Adding new content onto SCP-XXXX has so far failed.

If listened at a volume of about 86 dB, listeners begin to experience several abnormal symptoms, including:

  • Nausea
  • Paranoia
  • Hallucinations
  • Xerostomia
  • Eye irritation
  • Extreme tinnitus
  • Severe headache
  • Facial hypoesthesia

Approximately 60 (sixty) seconds after exposure to SCP-XXXX, subjects will immediately go into an epileptic seizure and fall into a comatose state. After roughly 80 seconds, subject’s head will begin to show signs of decay. A cavity starts forming around either side of the head’s temple and brain activity ceases. Brain tissue will begin to dissolve rapidly.

Test results have shown, that the louder the volume of SCP-XXXX was listened to, the more quicker and intense the symptoms will be. See Testing Logs…

In ██/██/19██, SCP-XXXX was first discovered inside the room of a 14-year-old Maltese boy in his family home in ████████, Malta after local authorities found his body inside his room with his head hollowed-out and cerebrospinal fluid pouring out of his orifices.
Mobile Task Force ██ was dispatched immediately and successfully retrieved and contained SCP-XXXX. The family and first responders on the scene were administered Class-A amnestics and have been given a cover-story of the boy committing suicide.

The origins of SCP-XXXX are currently unknown and investigations are still ongoing. The lead singer of the band █████ ███ was interrogated by Foundation personnel, but the suspect does not remember any involvement in the writing of SCP-XXXX. Suspect was administered Class-A amnestics and released.
