A wild Male specimen of SCP XXXX

Item #: SCP XXXX

Item Class: Safe Keter

Special Containment Procedure: SCP XXXX is to be kept in a glass terrarium of 50 X 30 X 25 CM. Instead of sand, the floor of the terrarium will be covered with salt due to SCP XXXX's extreme reaction to all items containing sodium. Said terrarium is to be watched at all times by two (2) cameras positioned in the top left & right corners of the cell. SCP XXXX is to be fed all organic leftovers from the foundation cafeteria after being sorted into specific foods that would be safe for SCP XXXX to consume. If SCP XXXX is given any food containing more than .5% salt then it is to be safely analysed within its containment cell by one (1) scientist with protective gear. If accessed by anyone with less than level 2 clearance, the 05 council is to be notified.

SCP XXXX's containment cell has one small plant of the genus Monstera that is allowed to grow for 2 weeks before being replaced by a younger one. If containment is breached, Salt & insect repellant are provided in the storage rooms. MTF's are to be notified but not called out. Class D's are to be returned to their quarters immediately. If personnel are killed, MTF's are to be armed with Franchi SPAS 12 combat shotguns & small improvisational salt grenades.

Description: SCP XXXX is in appearance, a caterpillar of the Citherona Regalis or Regal Moth
