Special Containment Procedures: Because of SCP-5970's nature containment has been deemed impossible. Any and all pictures and footage of SCP-5970 are to be confiscated and all instances of SCP-5970-2 are to be monitored for a period of up to two weeks for health conditions including, but not limited to, severe heart palpitations and mental trauma.
All personnel are advised to carry a bottle of antidepressants and take a pill in case of sudden anxiety. (See Addendum 5970-A for more details.)

Description: SCP-5970 is a pale, humanoid entity, approximatively 3 meters in height, capable of phazing through solid material. What is believed to be SCP-5970's head appears to be heavily deformed, with small black eyes and a wide crooked smile being present at all times. Its targets seem to be primarly people that are contemplating suicide or in the process of commiting suicide.

SCP-5970's behaviour can be separated into three distinct states:

-Searching state-SCP-5970 will look around, nod its head as in excusing itself politely, before leaving its current target, at which point it will begin moving towards a new target, designated SCP-5970-1. While it is doing this, SCP-5970-1 will suddenly cease any and all attempts of self harm and will enter a calm state. Any person within 10 meters of SCP-5970-1's current location, designated SCP-5970-2, will become visibly distressed. (Note: Antidepressants seem to diminish SCP-5970's effects against SCP-5970-2 instances.)

-Arrival state-Upon SCP-5970's arrival at SCP-5970-1's location it will attempt to bend down and embrace SCP-5970-1. While this is happening, SCP-5970-1 will enter a euphoric state. All instances of SCP-5970-2 will now actively search for SCP-5970-1 and, upon finding them, will suffer anxiety and possibly die from cardiac arrest.

-Leaving state-At this point, SCP-5970-1 will lose memory of the event and, when questioned about it, will simply state that a close relative entered the room and hugged them. SCP-5970-2 instances will also forget the event and, if shown pictures or footage of SCP-5970, will have an anxiety attack.

Addendum 5970-A: A transcript of the conversation between Dr. ██ and Dr. ███, regarding an incident, during which Dr. ███ was an SCP-5970-2 instance.

The following conversation takes place in Dr. ██'s office. The conversation had been
recorded by Dr. ██.

Dr. ██: Good morning, doctor…
Dr. ███: Good morning. Based on the file on your desk I can tell we are here to talk
about the incident with the antidepressants. Correct?
Dr. ██: Yes. Can you tell me what happened during SCP-5970's presence?
Dr. ███: Yes, yes, I can. As you may know I have been prescribed antideppresants
and the time at which I had taken them coincided with SCP-5970's arrival at its target's
position. And-
Dr. ██: (Interrupting) And you were not affected by SCP-5970's anomalous effects?
Dr. ███: Yes.
Dr. ██: Have you done anything out of the ordinary that day and if yes, how are
you so sure it's the antideppresants that halted the effects?
Dr. ███: I have been doing the same thing as everyone…The single difference is
that no one else was on any kind of medication and that now, I can still remember the
event, unlike the others…
Dr. ██: I see…Do you have anything else important to say?
Dr. ███: No, I don't think I do…
Dr. ██: Thank you for the cooperation, doctor! You may leave..
Dr. ███: Goodbye!

Special Containment Procedures: A room meeting all requirements for SCP-XXXX's manifestation is to be housed in Site-XX. Said room should:
-be illuminated using weak lighting equipment, such as glowsticks, only.
-house at least twelve (12) pieces of furniture, alongside four (4) structurally unnecesary support beams.
-have four (4) D-class personnel whom have experienced mental trauma patrolling inside at all times.

Addendum XXXX-A: Mirrors orientated towards the ceiling are to be placed around the room to facilitate the spotting of SCP-XXXX instances hidden on the ceiling.

Addendum XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX instances don't seem to react to people outside of the room viewing them.(this includes people viewing them through camera feeds)

Description: SCP-XXXX is a group of 4 males of japanese descent, dressed in traditional ninja uniforms. Upon manifestation, SCP-XXXX instances will attempt to hide behind furniture, on the ceiling or in areas which are not directly lit. Upon succesfully hiding, SCP-XXXX instances will produce a standard kitchen knife and a garden onion (allium cepa) bulb from within the uniform. They will then start chopping the onion bulb using the kitchen knife, causing all people within the room to expel salt water from their tear ducts. If any SCP-XXXX instances are spotted by people in the room during this occurence all instances will vanish into a smoke cloud. They will, eventually, vanish into a smoke cloud despite not being spotted, but only after they are done chopping the onions into bits as small as humanely possible. Exposure to SCP-XXXX for long periods of time will cause people to also expel salt water from other orifices, such as the nasal cavity, the oral cavity and the external auditory canal. People experiencing this may suffocate and eventually expire.

SCP-XXXX manifestations are more likely to happen if:
-a tragic event had taken place in the room.
-the room is not properly lit.
-the room houses large amounts of furniture.
-the people in the room are already experiencing mental trauma or depression.
