Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6173 is to be set a 10 degrees Celsius, and kept in a watertight containment cell made out of the materiel with the highest melting point you can find. The temperature of each wall is to be monitored 24/7, and if the temperature goes above 100 degrees Celsius, an agent is to enter the room with a stool, and set SCP-6173 to 30 degrees Celsius and place it onto the stool. The stool is then to be placed in the center of the room. No other personnel are to enter the room, except for testing purposes. Personnel are to be rotated every 2 months.
Description: SCP-6173 is a temperature control panel, able to stick to any solid or liquid object. SCP-6173 is able to alter the temperature of the object it is sticking to, (referred to henceforth as SCP-6173) seemingly possessing no up or down limits. heating objects up to the point where a black hole is created, or lower than absolute 0. SCP-6173 is also in possession of a memetic effect. Any personnel that have viewed it, felt it, and have been exposed to it for over 3 months, appear to slowly be evaporated. When the evaporation process is complete, an identical copy of SCP-6173 is all that remains.
