Description:
SCP-50XX is a cross-dimensional entity that can exist in a multitude of different planes of existence at the same time. It is a 185 square meter duplex villa with 3 bedrooms, a living room and 2 bathrooms. All the furniture in the house seems new and the room temperature never changes.

Records show that it was built during the '60s and only one family has resided in it. It is unknown when SCP-50XX became active but it is believed that it wasn't too long after the owners moved in.

Contact with the Entity:
D-Class personnel were sent into the entity but they couldn't get out. New personnel were assigned and they went in with cameras and communication devices but their connection cut off a minute after they entered the house. Before they disconnected, the team said that there were no signs of the other team.

After a year of observation, Dr. ████ theorized that the house itself wasn't the entity but the entity lived inside the walls of the house. Dr. ████ also theorized that the entity only switches dimensions when it has no connection to the outside. With this knowledge, another group of D-Class personnel were sent into the house but left a doorstop at the entrance to keep the front door open. While the group was going through different rooms, one of the members bumped into a bookshelf in one of the bedrooms; causing 4 books to fall out. After they finished exploring all the rooms, they noticed that the books were not on the ground anymore and they had been placed back to their spots on the bookshelf.
After further experimentation, it was found out that every room switches dimensions separately when the front door is open although the rooms can be exited freely.

Dr. ████ proceeded with his research and came up with a device that can be tracked between dimensions. After the device was set up inside the house, Dr. ████ ordered the house to be burned down. The house was set on fire and burned down completely after a day. Even though the house was in ashes, the device kept sending signals from inside the house which proved that every time something changed inside or outside of the house, the second the change happens, the entity switches to a different version of the house in a different dimension.

The house reappeared in the same spot the next day after it was burned down.

Addendum 50XX.1: Dr. ████'s Research Logs

The following lines have been taken from Dr. ████'s research notes and recordings.

Recording 1.1: Okay, so this thing is very confusing. If it works the way I think it does, then that means controlling it would allow me to travel between dimensions. I have to solve this.

Recording 1.2: The entity dwells inside the house. I can't see it but I know it. And that explains why it can't switch dimensions when the front door is open although I don't know why it needs to isolate itself to do so. I already lost two teams but there has to be a way to track them down. There has to…

Recording 1.3: I did it! This device will allow me to track the entity across dimensions. I should try to come up with something to summon it to our dimension at will. When I do that, I can travel through plains of existence.
