Item #: SCP-5029 "Cerberus"
Object Class: Euclid-S
Special Containment Procedures: Is not currently contained, free to wander as he wishes
Description: SCP-5029, known as Cerberus, is a young, 6' 10" Russian man in his early twenties with shaggy, dark hair, long, sharp teeth, and Celtic-style tattoos down his right arm. There are 10 triangular implants of an anomalous dark metal with a small sapphire in the center of each, with 1 on each side of his neck.
Cerberus was found by an MTF strike force, frozen in the ice of a frozen Nazi research base in the upper Arctic Circle, in a cryo-stasis pod. Upon being freed by MTF soldiers, he displayed extreme aggression and fear, repeating over and over again: "Don't hurt me, please, not again, stop, don't hurt me", followed by quiet sobbing, and wild thrashing out against the soldiers with incredibly long nails, that looked almost like claws. He reportedly growled at the MTF troopers repeatedly, and his expression was much like that of a hurt dog, afraid that you'll beat him. The MTF strike team leader comforted him, and assured him that they weren't going to hurt him. He calmed down markedly at this, and allowed himself to be taken into custody. The leader asked his name, SCP-5029 replied: "They called me Cerberus..", and subsequently broke down in tears again.
Further investigation into the base in which SCP-5029 was held revealed that SCP-5029 was a "Super Soldier" program created to possibly enhance Germany's Sturmtruppen, or shock troopers. He was a semi-failed attempt to produce Lycanthropy, commonly known as Werewolfisim, on Russian and American POWs, to create super soldiers for Nazi Germany's war effort. The result was an emotionally damaged, empathetic test subject with the emotional control of a fifteen-year-old, very bad PTSD, extremely enhanced senses, and an unprecedented regeneration factor to all wounds dealt to him.
Realizing they could not use him to their advantage, the Nazis used him to test experimental weapons. They exposed him to many different gasses and neurological agents, and shot him too many times to count. Cerberus healed from all of these wounds, but he experienced extreme pain either way. They wiped his memories multiple times, but it did nothing to help them control him. He eventually broke out of his containment and killed several researchers and soldiers in an attempt to escape the facility. As a last attempt to keep him from getting out, they flooded the base with a cryogenic agent to freeze everything inside. Cerberus survived due to his regenerative powers, but lost much memory of the incident, and kept the PTSD.
The SCP Foundation classified him as a Euclidean SCP, under the number 5029. Research into his powers revealed that silver does do significant damage to him, and is the one way you could kill him, but there's really no reason to kill him, as he is completely sane, and incredibly empathetic towards anyone or anything in pain or stress. He has shown incredible prowess communicating with animals, especially canines. Similar to a therapy dog, he seems to calm stressful people and situations down.
He was assigned to an MTF task force, known as task force Alpha 10-b "Fenrir" (after the Norse wolf of legend) due to having useful abilities, and his stress healing field. Task Force Alpha 10-b "Fenrir" is primarily assigned to Search and Rescue or Hostage rescue situations, specializing in medical treatment, both physical and neurological damage. They use several other SCPs in their tasks. SCP-5029 has shown significant skill in defusing hostage situations and first response.
Addendum: Classified as Euclid-S, because he is harmless, but still a very unpredictable SCP. AKA: Euclid-Safe.
