Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-2 is to be kept in Adaptive Containment Container 6 at Site 17. Any reports of lower than usual Hume levels in the ACC are to be reported by the Site director immediately.
The status SCP-XXXX-β is to be monitored by the Department of Esoteric Physics. Should the Emergency Erasure Protocol fail, appropriate staff should begin implementing plans for a QK class scenario.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the state of being simultaneously existential and non-existential. Unless properly contained, affected individuals have a destabilizing effect on the subatomic level of reality. This effect is currently being classified as a, "doubling field," which allows for two separate realities to be intertangled with each other, despite having opposing subatomic polarities. It is unknown how long each reality could retain cohesion in this paradoxical form, but it would inevitably lead to each universe having a highly accelerated rate of entropy.
There is currently a single living entity in this state: Dr. Rachel Elizabeth Meadows, classified as SCP-XXXX-2. As she currently exists in a state of quantum flux, she is also classified as SCP-XXXX-β. SCP-XXXX-β is currently non-existential in our universe. Efforts to prevent SCP-XXXX β from penetrating this reality are ongoing.
