Special Containment procedures: To ensure the safety of Foundation personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX (and negate the effects of said SCP), all persons in Sector-34, located within Site-██, are required to wear standard-issue 20 kg ankle weights and a standard-issue 40 kg vest at all times while in proximity less than fifty meters from SCP-XXXX. Removing these weights or inciting others to remove their weights will result in disciplinary action as specified by the site director.
SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside a 3 m x 3 m x 3 m metal chamber with 0.5 m thick bulletproof glass windows. This chamber is to be surrounded by a windowless 5 m x 5 m x 5 m lead-lined buffer zone, patrolled by at least two (2) foundation guards. Air conditioning is to be supplied via a ceiling fan inside SCP-XXXX's chamber Due to Incident XXXX-20██-1, Air conditioning is to be supplied via ventilation inside the chamber and buffer zone.
Testing on SCP-XXXX is postponed following Incident XXXX-20██-1. Only personnel with written permission form Dr.████████ are authorized to enter the buffer zone to the chamber. Personnel attempting to enter the chamber of SCP-XXXX without proper authorization are subject to disciplinary measures as specified by the site director.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity of indeterminate gender, approximately 2 meters in height. No concrete description of the humanoid has yet been possible, as SCP-XXXX is covered in a blue robe, obscuring almost all of its features. Attempts to remove said robe have been met with hostility and violent outbursts by the entity.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects occur during observation of the entity, via a direct view, an image, or a video. After one (1) second of exposure to SCP-XXXX, observers begin to float upwards. The velocity at which this phenomenon manifests itself varies, with the median being two (2) meters per second. As indicated by Incident XXXX-20██-1, there appears to exist no upper limit to the counter-gravitational velocity imparted to sentient observers by the act of observation. This property affects observers for 48 hours after exposure to SCP-XXXX, after which the observer is subject to Earth's normal gravitational force.
Note: SCP-XXXX has the ability to float as well, and will do so often in its chamber.
It has been observed that SCP-XXXX does not control whether observers float or not. All attempts at communication with the entity have failed, and SCP-XXXX is inherently hostile to Foundation members. Personnel testing are to remain one (1) meter away from SCP-XXXX at all times, due to its attempts to remove the weights on members As stated above, due to Incident XXXX-20██-1, all testing on SCP-XXXX is suspended until further notice.
Addendum 1: The video recording of Incident XXXX-20██-1 is still being processed. Viewing of the tape will, of course, only be done with my permission. I will have a transcript ready for those of you who don't want to see how bad the situation got.
