Description:
SCP-XXXX is a book an object of unknown dimensions. All subjects perceive it as the most significant object from their religion usually a book or statue. Subjects without a religion will perceive it the same way as the nearest religious individual would even if said individual has never seen SCP-XXXX. All subjects without a religion will suddenly profess to now believe in the religion of the nearest religious individual. Approximately 3-6 minutes after first seeing SCP-XXXX all subjects will begin to worship it with appropriate praise for their religion, said praise will always be in their native language even if their religion primarily uses a different language. If their said religion shuns icon worship said individual will begin reciting prays or other holy phrases while facing SCP-XXXX. Subjects will be unaware of differences in perception between different individuals. When remotely observed SCP-XXXX has no discernible effects. If SCP-XXXX is removed from view all subjects who have not perceived SCP-XXXX for more than [Redacted] minutes will lose all memory of SCP-XXXX. Any individual who has perceived SCP-XXXX for over the stated time will show a strong desire to continue to "worship" SCP-XXXX.
If allowed to continue to "worship" SCP-XXXX for more than 17 hours the subjects form of worship will change significantly. Subjects will begin to change the structure of the language they are "worshiping" SCP-XXXX in. Typically this will largely be limited to vowels such as a and e which will usually be replaced with u and o sounds, after several hours subjects will also begin to stop pronouncing p and b which will be replaced with t, d or v sounds.
The changes made to the "worship" revolve around the introduction of a god called Uonroon who will be asserted as the primary focus of their worship.
After another 4-5 hours all signs of the subjects previous religion will have been completely replaced.
Subjects will now worship a being called Uonroon.
See Addendum for an example of a prayer.
After another 3-4 hours have passed subjects will begin to draw blood either by using nearby sharp implements or by using nails or teeth. Using the drawn blood the subjects will begin to draw circles around SCP-XXXX in blood. Each subject will then draw a circle on the edge of the largest circle around SCP-XXXX, the subject will proceed to open several arteries typically ones which are near the skin and will then die of blood death.
