Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3 X 3 m soundproof, one-way windowed room in a 90 X 90 cm windowless steel box, closed with a steel lock. All personnel seeking entrance must provide level two access. All personnel entering SCP-XXXX chamber are free to roam and examine the box under video supervision. During testing object must be facing away from windows. NO OUTLETS ARE TO BE PRESENT. Object is too unstable for testing. The object has a very basic form of deceptional intelligence. See Addendum 0445.
Description: SCP-XXXX was recovered near the town of [REDACTED], Michigan by Foundation personell who recovered it in the home of ███ ███████ with ████████████, thought to be caused by shock.
SCP-XXXX is a unbranded computer with a monitor, set of speakers, keyboard and a mouse. The set is relatively modern with only minor hardware being out of date. When SCP-XXXX is placed exactly 1 meter near an outlet, cables will start manifesting and connecting to a power strip connected to the outlet, generated by SCP-XXXX. It is not known from where the material in order to build the cables comes from. A complete formation will take about 1-10 minutes. Attempts at shortening the cables will result in immediate repair and a sudden, yet instant electrical burst of energy to the person cutting the cables.
If a person enters a range of 1 metre near SCP-XXXX, the monitor screen flashes rapidly all while "high pitched beeping" follows, rendering the victim completely docile and unconscious.
SCP-XXXX then enters the affected persons limbic system in the form of a miniature cable, small enough to pass through the nostrils of the victim. The cable is an unknown shape seemingly designed to enter through the nose into the brain without abstructing breathing or damaging the nerves. The victims therefore become SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX can enter the limbic system of multiple individuals. It is highly advised not to interfere with SCP-XXXXs path since [REDACTED]. The objects affect and range do not work through walls.
When the cable reaches the limbic system it affects the emotional state of SCP-XXXX-2 making them cry, scream, beg for forgiveness and "mourn" the death of something or someone they killed. The deaths mourned vary from house flies to confessions of murder. The memories are projected on the monitor and flash rapidly making it seem as though we are seeing through SCP-XXXX-2 eyes. SCP-XXXX-2 will continue to cry, scream and mourn for 2-3 more hours, after which they die from shock, spasming which makes the cable damage the brain putting them into a vegetative state or until SCP-XXXX recedes the cables and releasing SCP-XXXX-2 making them unconscious (duration varies from 30 minutes to leaving them in a comatose state for months). After SCP-XXXX ends the "mourning" process, it temporarily goes on a cooldown, lasting exactly 2 minutes.
Addendum 0445
After [REDACTED], the object projected a fake bluescreen error. Two class D's and and MTF were sent in to investigate. As they stepped into the objects range, unbeknowst to them, SCP-XXXX had already manifested cables. All 3 personnel were pronounced dead exactly 1 hour after being deceived by SCP-XXXX. They were
