Scrapped Concept

This SCP concept has been scrapped, but you can read it if you want. I did some thinking and decided that this SCP did not work well on paper.

Object Class: Undergoing Neutralization under “Procedure Ignorance”¹

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be forgotten, and any documents surrounding SCP-XXXX are to be destroyed. Mobile Task Force Zeta-35 “Men In Black” are to be deployed when remaining information about SCP-XXXX is accessed. SCP-XXXX is to be deemed as a memetic hazard to personnel who mention of its existence, said personnel are to be then overdosed on Class-A Amnestics, which will cause personnel to have to be rehabilitated under a new name with the reasoning that they have been by an anomalous object that has put them under am amnesia-like effect.
“Procedure Ignorance” is under effect until complete neutralization, and under this process the following guidelines are to be followed.

• SCP-XXXX is not a thing nor has there ever been a SCP-XXXX.
• SCP-XXXX is a thing, and SCP-XXXX has always existed.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a concept that can be viewed as anything that the human mind can comprehend. SCP-XXXX is incomprehensible to the point that it can be comprehended. When a subject knows of SCP-XXXX, they are to be known as SCP-XXXX-1 until their identity has been wiped with an overdose of Class-A Amnestics. Due to SCP-XXXX’s ability to be comprehended as anything comprehensible “Procedure Ignorance” could be viewed as a success and a failure at the same time.

SCP Concept "A model of the Solar System"

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX has been hung up in the office of it’s creator, Junior Researcher France⁴. SCP-XXXX is to be inspected for any damages, and any damage reported must be repaired immediately. If a planet on SCP-XXXX were to fall off/be removed any reports of the anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX are to be reported as fake to any news outlet covering the anomalous effect. The “Earth” of the model is to be untouched.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a model of the solar system, excluding pluto, made of styrofoam balls and kebab sticks. SCP-XXXX’s properties arise when a planet is removed from SCP-XXXX. When removed the planet will no longer be visible from Earth or external devices.
Each "planet" on SCP-XXXX has been noted to have an effect similar to it's physical counterpart.

• The "Sun" has been noted to radiate heat, and long periods of contact can lead to burns.
• "Mercury" and "Venus" both display signs of heat and can cause burns similar to the "Sun", but with less severity.
• Contact with the "Earth" has been prohibitied, but it is assumed that is would have a water like feel where the "oceans" would be and a grassy feel where the "land" is.
• Contact with "Mars" was described as a "rocky" feel to it.
• The "Jupiter's" Red Spot has caused minor injuries to the person coming in contact with it.
• "Uranus" and "Neptune" have been described as having a "cold and misty" feel.

According to the creator of SCP-XXXX the properties were never noticed until the “Uranus” was knocked off. This event, which lasted ██ hours, was noticed when radio signals that would bounce off of Uranus to a satellite orbiting the planet were no longer picked up. When the event ended it was covered up as a hacker interfering with the station receiving the satellite’s signals.

1. “Procedure Ignorance” is carried out by MTF Zeta-35. The procedure consists of finding information about SCP-XXXX, and recovering it to be destroyed.

2. “Procedure Bliss” occurs when SCP-XXXX comprehends itself as "Procedure Ignorance." This creates a paradox where SCP-XXXX is self-containing, and to prevent information about SCP-XXXX from spreading to other personnel (which would theoretically break the paradox.) All members of MTF Zeta-35 view a cognitohazard that is designed to wipe any knowledge from being recovered from their brain, causing brain death in the process.
