Item Number: 4154
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4154 is to be kept in a 3.7m x 5.5m cell, simulating an outdoor environment. Said cell is to be provided with grass, regularly maintained (cut, NEVER WITH SCP-4154, watered, etc.), a sprinkler set to go off every 2 hours to prevent [REDACTED], and hidden surveillance cameras to ensure no personnel tamper or come into contact with the object.
Under no circumstances should any device capable of sharing information and/or media be brought into or near the cell of SCP-4154, so as not to aggravate it. (See addendum 3)
Description: SCP-4154’s appearance is that of a red and black lawnmower with a yellow badge painted on its the right side. The object was found in Mr.[REDACTED]’s (Hereby referred to as ???) backyard on the 21st of May, [REDACTED]. Upon being asked about the object, ??? claimed he had “…never seen anomalous behavior,” and that it was sold to him outside of a gardening store in Wisconsin.
First reports of anomalous activity came when a crime was reported near the house of ???. Law enforcement arrived at the scene to find no sign of the criminal. After searching many houses in the area, the criminal was found in ???’s backyard, chopped and shredded by his lawnmower. Police took ??? in for interrogation, and after several lie detector tests and weeks of questioning, he was, strangely, found innocent.
When taken under containment by the Foundation, several tests were conducted, resulting in conclusions that led subjects and Supervisors alike to give SCP-4154 the nickname “The Law Mower”. (See addendums 1-3)
Addendum 1:
22nd of March, 1992. D-Class personnel Robert [REDACTED] was instructed to enter SCP-4154’s cell and fire a pistol. (Provided by the Foundation) Upon following instructions, the object announced a pre-recorded message, stating that the D-Class was in violation of Law Number [REDACTED], and aggressively charged at the subject on its back wheels. The D-Class was brutally mangled and was left suffering for nearly 6 minutes before perishing.
Addendum 2:
16th of January, 1994. Unnamed D-Class was instructed to enter SCP-4154’s cell, fully naked. After quite a bit of resistance, the subject was “persuaded” to enter. After doing so, SCP-4154 announced another pre-recorded message, stating that the D-Class was in violation of Law Number [REDACTED], and once again, this resulted in the loss of another subject.
No further testing is to be conducted with crimes in the U.S.
Addendum 3:
19th of June, 1994. A now terminated Foundation member foolishly charged their laptop within 30 meters of SCP-4154’s cell. As soon as the laptop was opened, muffled speech could be heard from the cell, presumably, a pre-recorded message from SCP-4154 followed repeated banging on the cell door. After only one minute, the object breached the door and terminated the Foundation member.
No device capable of sharing/viewing media that may include criminal reports are to be allowed near the cell of SCP-4154.
