Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5001 is to be kept in an airtight, insulating box approximately 1m×1m×1m in a standard containment cell. SCP-5001 is to be monitored by two guards at all times. SCP-5001 is only to be taken out of containment during testing.
description: SCP-5001 is a pair of large, ornate wooden cleavers. One of which has a red and black handle (designated SCP-5001-1) while the other is green and black (designated SCP-5001-2). SCP-5001-1 seems to have runes along the blade depicting lightning, while SCP-5001-2 has lettering instead (note: the lettering on SCP-5001-2 is extremely faded). When performing a downward chopping action, SCP-5001 is able to send a bolt of lightning in the direction of said chopping. This lightning is able to melt nearly any material, including (but not limited to) plastic, aluminum, steel, and concrete. Where SCP-5001 draws its power from to generate this lightning is currently unknown. It should be noted that any attempt to harm the user of SCP-5001 is met with near instant cardiac arrest.
