Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard issue plastic pencil case. Aforementioned pencil case is to be placed in a replica English Language Arts classroom of standard size. No sentient entities, including any personnel, are to come within (5) feet of SCP-XXXX unless issued proper equipment. Personnel are to be psychologically evaluated prior to and after being assigned to SCP-XXXX. If any mental abnormalities are to be found in any personnel following working with SCP-XXXX, said personnel is to be administered C-class anesthetic and are to be transferred to an alternate site.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard sixteen (16) centimeter [REDACTED] brand pencil. SCP-XXXX will always appear to be new, freshly sharpened pencil regardless of prior use. SCP-XXX’s anomalous properties manifest when a sentient entity with high enough dexterity to operate it enters a five (5) meter radius of the it, unless specific requirements are met. If said requirements fail to be made, SCP-XXXX will gain control over said sentient entity's (now referred to as SCP-XXXX-A) motor functions. In all cases, SCP-XXXX-A has been witnessed picking up SCP-XXXX and writing on any surface available in an unidentified language. The body of SCP-XXXX-A gains rapid cell deterioration, causing it to die anywhere to three (3) seconds to fifteen (15) minutes. Once SCP-XXXX-A has taken possession of SCP-XXXX, it has been impossible to cease the effects of SCP-XXXX.
