Item #: SCP-4561

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4561 must be contained within an anechoic chamber, ensuring the dissipation of sound energy. The room measures 10m x 15m and connects to a dual-door system that is identical in premise to an airlock. All surfaces within the chamber and dual-door system are covered with carbon-impregnated, pyramidal foam and walls are 3m in thickness, being constructed from concrete. Between the foam and concrete is a 5cm layer of fiberglass, culminating in a perfectly anechoic room.

The secondary door that connects directly to the interior of the chamber is constructed of iron and is 1m in thickness. Prior to the secondary door, is a primary door comprised of identical materials to its counterpart. Before personnel enter the chamber, a screening room is entered wherein noise-cancelling headphones must be worn and all metal objects are removed and placed within a small container. See [INSERT DIAGRAM HERE] for further details of room dimensions.

The dimensions of the piano are 2.4m in length, 1.54m in width and 1.31m in height , weighing precisely 304.7kg. The anomaly was constructed by Heinrich Engelhard Steinweg at his workshop in Hamburg, Germany at some point in November 1843.
