Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5464 Exists within a secure foundation facility, after having been purchased by the original property owners. Access to SCP-5464 is strictly prohibited, due to the physiology-effecting properties of the space. Anyone attempting to enter the space without authorization is to be detained and questioned.
Description: SCP-5464 Exists beneath a wooded area behind the residential home located at 662 Lakeview Trail in Curtis, Michigan. The site was discovered when the resident experienced himself excavating and visiting the site in a dream. The resident is now in foundation custody, due to abilities manifested as a result of contact with 5464.
SCP-5464 Is a cubic, granite room. The space measures exactly fifty feet in all directions and consists of polished white granite on all surfaces. The space is entered through a staircase, made of the same stone, leading downwards from the opening in the surface. In the center of the room is a pool of water, five feet deep, measuring ten feet by ten feet. At the rear of the room are three granite arches, with one in the center and the others to either side. The central door is filled with a red, soap-bubble like film. The left and right doors feature the same, but blue. These doors are inaccessible to those on this side.
Upon testing, the water of the pool is pure, and drinking it has no effect on biological organisms. When entered, the water is a comfortable temperature, seemingly tailored to each occupant's preferences. Entering the water also has a calming effect on most who enter.

Upon entering 5464, he was drawn to the pool, into which he submerged himself completely. Resident states that, while underwater, he saw a humanoid figure exit the left-most door, and stand above him. He could not make out features, due to distortion caused by the water's surface. He then states that the figure reached out to touch him, and that the next thing he remembers is waking up in his bed. |
| Foundation Testing, D-Class | Foundation D-class Samuel Fitcher was instructed to enter the pool under supervision and submerge his head beneath the water. With foundation personnel observing, no anomalous effects were observed. Fitcher surfaced without incident and stated that the water was "cozy." |

Dr. Strandhoff was seen to calmly enter the water, submerging herself completely beneath the surface. After a moment, a featureless, black humanoid figure is seen to exit the leftmost door. The figure walks towards her and kneels down to touch her. It is at this point the camera feed goes offline. ||
