SCP-5109 “The Cloud”

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5109 is to have a three (3) meter tall, barbed wire, electric fence constructed around it. Any personnel that enter SCP-5109 ‘s vicinity is to wear a hazmat suit and to be escorted by MTF Beta-7 “Maz Hatters.”
Any expedition or testing inside SCP-5109 must be approved by a member of the 05 council and Dr.█████.
Description: SCP-5109 is a large blood red cloud that completely absorbs a town located near [DATA EXPUNGED], Mexico. SCP-5109 is stationary and does not move despite the direction or strength of the wind. Along with this, none of Mexico’s official records indicate that the town ever existed, even though a seemingly recently paved, two-lane road leads directly to the town. The town is deemed SCP-5109-02. SCP-5109-02 appears to be an old spanish villa.
Once one enters SCP-5109 a slight pain will take over the body, as the gas quickly fills the lungs. Exactly ██ seconds later that pain will turn into a burning-like sensation, as the gas mixes with the blood stream. As discovered after numerous tests and experiments it was found out that the gas begins to eat away at all the organs in the body and destroys all bodily functions in a matter of ten minutes.
██ minutes after death and all organs have been destroyed, the remains of the subject reanimates but does not reform back into a humanoid form, instead it turns into a slump of meat and dead flesh known as SCP-5109-03, it then begins to drag itself away into the thickest parts of SCP-5109. In this part of the cloud it is nearly untraceable as the thickest parts of SCP-5109 seem to stop almost all sound from traveling and is nearly impossible to see through.
After following SCP-5109-03 through the cloud it will lead to a large steel looking door. Upon SCP-5109-03’s approach to the door, the door is wide open, and the room the door leads to has been reported to have a single hanging light bulb coming down from the ceiling with dark brown walls but being completely empty. After SCP-5109-03 enters the room, the door immediately swings closed. It has been shown that though the door appears to be made of steel it is actually made out of a high density metal of unknown origin or composition. NOTE: All attempts to breach the door have ended in failure.
█ hour after SCP-5109-03 enters the room a bipedal humanoid dressed in dark brownish rags and a metal face mask painted black, is seen leaving the room. It is also on occasion seen wielding a stick with a kitchen knife attached to the end. It was found that while in the room SCP-5109-03 manages to get into these clothes and then assumes a humanoid form. This new form allows SCP-5109-03 to move extremely fast and allows for them to jump from far distances. They also gain increased strength to the point where they can break a femur in two. They are immediately hostile to anyone they see not yet affected by SCP-5109.
Upon seeing someone not yet affected by SCP-5109, SCP-5109-03 will attempt to rip off any protective clothing the subject might be wearing or kill the subject if they fail to rip off they’re clothing. SCP-5109-03 has also been reported to have white luminescent eyes that put the viewer into some form of trance and renders the victim immobile. Once engaging SCP-5109-03 it is recommended that the head be severed after incompatitation, as failure to do so will result in SCP-5109-03 getting back up █ seconds later. SCP-5109-03 has also been recorded to scream and incoherently yell at the subject that it is engaging.
After decapitation of SCP-5109-03, the dead flesh of the original subject will spill out of the clothing. Any attempts to bring SCP-5109-03 out of SCP-5109 will fail as once brought out of SCP-5109, an accelerated decomposition process will occur and SCP-5109-03 will completely decompose in █ minutes.
It is recommended that if containment area is breached by unauthorized person(s) that a cover story be made of a kidnapping by a mexican cartel, and if said person(s) somehow survives SCP-5109 they are to be interrogated and subjected to a memory wipe.
