Containment procedures: All SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 20mx10mx5m room with SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3. All SCP-XXXX must be hung up on the walls and covered with 8 layers of canvas drop cloth and each SCP-XXXX is to be kept with a distance of approximately 1m in between each SCP-XXXX. The room is to be held behind an electronically locked door which will take only the specified keycard for the said door.

Viewing of SCP-XXXX must be authorized by at least 10 class-C scientists. Only class-D or higher may view the painting under the supervision of class-C scientist. The subject may not be monitored by surveillance as viewing of paintings will trigger effects. The subject must be monitored by motion sensors and microphones.

The procedure carried out must have the unwrapping of the painting then have a clear description by the subject of everything that is occurring. The subject must sketch out the painting as quickly as possible before effects set in and the subject is unusable.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of 12 unique paintings in which only 3 have been recovered. The collection is titled “Ceux qui souffrent” all created by Buzz Velvetsaw. Each painting is painted with Buzz Velvetsaw's human blood, tears, excrement and other unidentified human-related properties which have an unknown origin. Each painting is held in wooden frames with flower-like patterns carved into them. The frames are all painted with blood and watercolor tears. The back of each painting has written with various notes about Buzz Velvetsaw’s insanity

Each painting possesses different anomalies all affecting the viewer's mental health. The effects set in once the painting has been fully comprehended by the viewer and after being viewed the viewer will become obsessed with finding the meaning of the painting as they say. “The meaning is the only cure’’. As of ██ /██ /,██ we do not know if these statements are a true cure. The foundation does know that all SCP’s that cure mental illnesses work on the viewers however the obsession towards the finding of the meaning does not stop.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a painting of a beautiful town busking with life with a greyed out person standing in the middle of the painting. The painting is made of … blood, tears, and excrement. The back of the painting has the phrase “la déconnexion sans fin”. Viewing of said painting is said to give the viewer lifelong major depression-like symptoms. The viewer will then experience said obsession towards paintings. It’s described by the viewers that the grey human is a representation of major depression explaining that “no matter how great life can be, it never stops. I am always feeling hopeless, sad and I feel numb towards happiness’’.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a painting of a red mundane interior of a living room consisting of a sofa, tv and various common items. The red is said to be painted with the blood of Buzz Velvetsaw. The back of the painting has the writing in very angled letters stating the phrase “filtre de peur”. The painting is made up of small ghastly like figures. Viewing of the painting will give the viewer said obsession and intense lifelong Anxiety. The subjects refer to this as “a filter that no matter what happens, everything that happens is seen through a filter of worry and anxiousness”.

SCP-XXXX-3 is a red painting of an eye. surrounding the eye are various faceless like creatures with multiple lines connecting the two. SCP-XXXX-3 has traces of Buzz Velvetsaws blood. On the back of the painting has the phrase “Les voix sans visage”. This painting when seen will give auditory life long hallucinations along with Obsession. The viewers of SCP-XXXX-3 state that “I am haunted by faceless voices speaking to my ear”.

Buzz Velvetsaw: it was a way of expressing my pain to the world.

Buzz Velvetsaw: It was to show them what I felt. Before no one understood them. They treated my art by techniques, they studied my art like a textbook. They see no emotion in my work. Buzz Velvetsaw: I used my soul and torment as the brush and my blood and tears as the paint. I put so much of myself into my works and as such people will feel what I have felt for many years, pain.

closing statement: Buzz Velvetsaw seemed to have a sudden panic attack. The subject was
removed from the room and was placed into care. The subject was removed from care and
transported back to his cell.

After searching Buzz Velvetsaws home in ██████ a journal was found containing various sketches and concept ideas. A phrase is found in the back stating what appears to be a suicide note. The containments of which follow.

If your reading this I am dead. I want this to be the last I leave on this earth. I know what they want from me and I know they will try. If they what to know so badly they will just have to look and see.

After viewing of phrase Buzz Velvetsaw was found dead in his cell. The cause of death is believed to be a cardiac arrest. The cause of which is unknown however death was conveniently timed with the finding of the journal. This event is currently not determined as anomalous.
